@CalMatters I don’t think it’s a terrible idea to have a brand new shooter have some training. What I don’t like is that they’re trying to make it a law. Maybe we need a 4-hour class on voting. If you fail, you can’t vote for democrats anymore!

@CopperJacketTV @gunrights It still amazes me that the 2nd amendment really means absolutely nothing to state governments. Why do we need an HR bill when we have the 2A already? It’s so ridiculous. If you can buy a gun, you can carry a gun. Shall not be infringed! Surely this is what the 2A was made for.

@gunrights Too bad it hasn’t even passed its first committee since it was introduced in January of 2025. This is one I was really hoping for no matter how much of a long shot it is.

The question isn’t whether the Second Amendment exists. It’s whether regular people can realistically exercise it. Without fear of their government coming after them.

@RepThomasMassie @2AFDN @RepDavid We’re going about it all wrong and have been for too many years. The constitution states shall not be infringed. That’s it. Almost any gun law is an infringement, so almost every gun laws need to be stricken from society.

No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country. Thank you @RepDavid for cosponsoring HR 645, the National Constitutional Carry Act.
