Thanks to larger-than-expected outstanding vote estimates from key counties, including Los Angeles, we increased our projected turnout in the California governor's race to 9.5 million votes.
More vote helps Steyer's path, although he still did not quite hit targets today.

And, when I say this, yes, the home runs are what I mean because Shelton hit HR#12 last night, and that leads the Cal League. But, beyond that, just the "great hitter" approach that is leading to the home runs is what needs to continue to steal the show.
Last night's home run was to the opposite field gap, which means everything is connected, compact, and on time for a longer-levered type hitter. Shelton has hits in 18 of his last 19 games, and in his last 18 games, he has 27 hits in 64 at-bats (.421), with 4 doubles, 7 home runs, and 23 RBIs in that span. Wow!
