@newstart_2024 Very disturbing. Humans should not be wearing plastic.
This is why I created @wear_maro. We use natural materials like organic cotton, merino wool, and natural tree rubber.

This guy’s vow after learning about polyester is spreading fast for good reason:
“I will never let my little girl wear polyester again — and after hearing why, you might not either.”
In 65 seconds he explains the process:
Polyester is plastic — made from crude oil or recycled bottles, melted at high heat, extruded into threads through spinnerets, stretched, and coated with synthetic dyes, phthalates, BPA, antimony, and chemical treatments.
The problem:
Plastic fibers shed microplastics and nanoplastics that absorb through your skin — especially when you sweat (sports bras, activewear, leggings).
These carry endocrine-disrupting chemicals linked to hormone imbalance, fertility issues, and long-term accumulation in organs, blood, and brain.
His wake-up call:
What you wear against your skin is absorbed by your body.
Polyester clothing = wearing plastic all day.
How much of your current wardrobe is polyester?
Drop the percentage below — are you planning to make a change after this?

This week, Anthropic delivered a master class in arrogance and betrayal as well as a textbook case of how not to do business with the United States Government or the Pentagon.
Our position has never wavered and will never waver: the Department of War must have full, unrestricted access to Anthropic’s models for every LAWFUL purpose in defense of the Republic.
Instead, @AnthropicAI and its CEO @DarioAmodei, have chosen duplicity. Cloaked in the sanctimonious rhetoric of “effective altruism,” they have attempted to strong-arm the United States military into submission - a cowardly act of corporate virtue-signaling that places Silicon Valley ideology above American lives.
The Terms of Service of Anthropic’s defective altruism will never outweigh the safety, the readiness, or the lives of American troops on the battlefield.
Their true objective is unmistakable: to seize veto power over the operational decisions of the United States military. That is unacceptable.
As President Trump stated on Truth Social, the Commander-in-Chief and the American people alone will determine the destiny of our armed forces, not unelected tech executives.
Anthropic’s stance is fundamentally incompatible with American principles. Their relationship with the United States Armed Forces and the Federal Government has therefore been permanently altered.
In conjunction with the President's directive for the Federal Government to cease all use of Anthropic's technology, I am directing the Department of War to designate Anthropic a Supply-Chain Risk to National Security. Effective immediately, no contractor, supplier, or partner that does business with the United States military may conduct any commercial activity with Anthropic. Anthropic will continue to provide the Department of War its services for a period of no more than six months to allow for a seamless transition to a better and more patriotic service.
America’s warfighters will never be held hostage by the ideological whims of Big Tech. This decision is final.

We DTC owners are super users of AI. And as such, should be proud of @AnthropicAI for resisting the Pentagon's demands to use AI for fully autonomous weapons, especially considering the following article - newscientist.com/article/251688…

Has anyone built the Judgeme version of Triple Whale yet?
We pay over $1K/mo for triple whale (10-20x a claude subscription), it should really be ~$25-50/month.
Only features we need:
- Daily PnL dashboard + all Shopify analytics
- Integrate ad and sales channels
- Integrate subscription data
- Slack/email reports
- LTV charts
That's it, don't need any of the AI or agent stuff, that's all done inside of Claude. Just be a nice looking API wrapper for shopify data and ad channel data and price yourself appropriately.
Hopefully a cracked software builder in ecom can do this, there are thousands of stores waiting to churn legacy expensive saas and sign up.

worth of tee shirts
60% shopify
two women decided to open a tee shirt brand 6 years ago
(i thought it was a bad idea, kept it to myself)
july of 2020 they opened a shopify site.
i took over marketing in september of 2021, I remember as soon as they told me I was in charge I came to Twitter and started searching for things to do. lol
I did not do it alone, I would guess I was the weak link for us at most points. doesn’t matter, figured it out.
I have a few people to thank.
@michael_upstack top of the list. his product is good better than the competition in my opinion. But I’ve been to him a half dozen times for stuff that had nothing to do with this product and save my butt.

especially @TheBillRom recently i’d advise some of you to scour his tweets.
countless tweets i would copy paste and execute…@herrmanndigital @kurtinc @PhilKiel @binghott @SarahLevinger @DenneyDara
dm. convos with so many that helped me…
lately i have my ecom group. I appreciate all 83 of you. it started out with @PurushaPat now
I also need to tell on myself a bit.
There are a few people on here who helped me even more than the ones above.
Those of you who told me I was cooked, i was NGMI…. i owe you. really really helped me.
I could care less about money, comes and goes. easy.
I really love to make people wrong when they tell me I can’t do something.
those of you who said i could not do something guaranteed my goals and made it easier to attain.
I had a few of those calls lately, gonna be smashing goals for a while.
