@LTDAForum @Sanzhar_Abishev @Tony_Devenish @CityWestminster @westminstertory @CLWCA @paulswaddle @NFBUK @DocklessLondon @LondonTrafficW1 @DocklessObs @VoteTimBarnes I’m not disagreeing with you. All I’m saying is in the context of what the previous administration has pledged to deliver and what the current one is failing on. Simples. Ask anyone in Westminster and they’ll tell you, that’s not how it feels. Sort it out, that’s all

Dear @CityWestminster. How much longer must your residents tolerate this blight on their daily lives, before your take action? This issue is a direct consequence of your parking bay scheme, which has not worked. The ascribed limit on bike numbers, agreed with operators, is exceeded daily. Most parking bays still have no demarcation, allowing users to park irresponsibly. No meaningful pressure is being exerted on operators to introduce tougher penalties for users. Finally, the enforcement powers available to you, haven't been exercised since August 2022. In cities, where local administrations failed to manage micro-mobility for hire - vandalising bikes and scooters became normalised and even celebrated. I've already witnessed occurrences of that, in St James's. Fail to act now, and you will risk pushing disgruntled residents to take matters into their own hands - not an outcome any of us want. Act now.

@LTDAForum @Sanzhar_Abishev @Tony_Devenish @CityWestminster @westminstertory @CLWCA @paulswaddle @NFBUK @DocklessLondon @LondonTrafficW1 @DocklessObs @VoteTimBarnes It only highlights the councils approach to transport: Drive? We’ll do all we can to inconvenience you the least Anything else? Good luck What would happen if they were blocking the bit of road motor vehicles go? The bit pedestrians go they don’t care x.com/confidentcyc/s…

@Sanzhar_Abishev @CityWestminster @westminstertory @CLWCA @Tony_Devenish @paulswaddle @NFBUK @DocklessLondon @LondonTrafficW1 @LTDAForum @DocklessObs @VoteTimBarnes Get some help and put them all in the road, blocking it. I am sure some action will be swift then.

Here in St John’s Wood is no different. The council only cares about those who drive, this & previous administration are alike. Drivers are kings and queens and any attempt to reallocate a bit of road space for anyone walking, wheeling or cycling is not a priority. Sort this out!

As a group of residents in St John’s Wood who continually raise issues around car dominance and dangerous drivers, you’ve not been speaking up for us. It took 6 years and a change in power for @CityWestminster to finally acknowledge the road danger outside Robinsfield infant, eg
Paul Swaddle@paulswaddle

The @MayorofLondon is stripping @CityWestminster of its powers to force through a rejected scheme. Typical top down abuse of power, who will speak up for residents? I will be calling on @leader_wcc to stand up for residents not cosy up with @MayorofLondon. standard.co.uk/news/london/sa…
