Why do HOAs have so many rules that are not supported by law? I have a pre-mediation invitation from HOA attorneys now bc my lawn has weeds bc lawn is in drought dormancy or died…but state is in Extreme water shortage now…and SWFWMD directed that HOA do not enforce rules that require irrigation. Why did they not pull back their prelawsuit actions..when my lawn look much better that HOAs common areas… …harassment and intimidation… Image attached is their weed lawn…what right do they have to selectively enforce?! But they are blatantly doing it..I reported it…until I see HOA officially pull back the prelawsuit paperwork, I assume, local govt is NOT enforcing Extreme Water Shortage Statewide directives… And not related to firearms…but bylaws and selective enforcement seems to be a common denominator here..

I don’t think so. Not on my watch. If anyone's right to carry under Florida law is denied, contact my office. There will be serious consequences, including personal liability for public officials, for violating any Floridian’s Constitutional rights.

@tk97813 Generally, state law overrides contract provisions when those provisions conflict with the law. The purpose of this HOA rule cannot be read to say that self-defense is not allowed. Show me where an HOA has thrown the rulebook at someone for a self-defense shooting.

We are going to sue YouTube But before we do, our lawyer is currently in the process of sending a letter to YouTube. Over 2 weeks ago our channel @UnderSparked" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@UnderSparked was falsely demonetized under the "inauthentic content" policy. Demonetized doesn't mean no ads though, all it means is YouTube will still run ads on the videos. But they pocket all the revenue, essentially stripping all the revenue from us. We don't claim to be the pinnacle of quality content standards, but the following things do cause us to scratch our heads in confusion 1. All of the bigger channels in the same niche as us are monetized with no issues 2. We literally voice act, edit, etc, all our own videos while 100s of AI storytelling channels are still monetized 3. YouTube is fine with running ads on the videos, pocketing all the revenue.
