This is an oldie but a goodie. If you want to see if the vaccine worked, you read the paper about the Nth dose and look at the benefit of the N-1 dose. In this case, Jikky did that and found that the unvaccinated were less likely to die from COVID than those who got 3 doses. The whole trick is to use the numbers that they never expect you to use.
