#ManipurViolence Why the "900 Kuki militants entering Manipur" is a FALSE alarm? The situation has already been compromised from across the border. See why - 📍Kuki-Zomi-Hmar outfit camps are located in Manipur. They are under constant surveillance of the Joint Monitoring Committee and are thus restricted in their movements. On the other hand, Meitei militant outfit camps are located in Myanmar. 📍Since the outbreak of conflict, the involvement of Meitei insurgent groups like UNLF, PLA, KYKL and their assistance to local partisan groups like #ArambaiTenggol and #MeiteiLeepun has been obvious. 📍The Chief Minister, the inner Manipur MP and their patronage of #ArambaiTenggol show the obvious compromise of state institutions like the police and the infiltration of #MeiteiInsurgent members within the state force, (be it with or without the knowledge/approval of individuals within these institutions). 📍On top of that, the mutual looting of arms from police stations is incomparable. The looting of thousands of guns and bullets in the valley and that of a few hundred in the hills is simply incomparable by all measures considering the real war-like situation in the ground.

Mizoram Chief Minister expressed his views for President’s Rule in Manipur Speaking to news reporters at the 71st Plenary meeting of the North East Council in Shillong on Friday, Lalduhoma said the situation has not change in Manipur and sometimes have turned worse. The CM has been expecting that President's Rule be imposed in Manipur.
