I hear Cockroach Janata Party accounts are being blocked. Small warning: cockroaches have outlived empires, pandemics and probably a few IT cells too. Block one, ten more emerge from the dark corners. MIND IT! 😃

@BNCCofficial Please look into the Doddaballapura Main Rd mess. Citizens need urgent intervention from authorities to repair the damaged roads for water pipeline work. Also please review and speed up the flyover work on this road. Pending since 5 years

@TexonimousRex @Kuma50531Kumar Who told you blue line construction is 95% done. Check the blr metro tracker page for on the ground updates. Lots of pillars yet to be erected let alone track plinth work being completed. I doubt bmrcl are even ready to launch the orr portion of the blue line by Dec end.

@Kuma50531Kumar pink line is almost open and blue line construction is 95% done. why should it take 3 more years to open ??? BLR people have such low expectations out of everything— it needs to be studied

The orange line isn't "approved" yet. Why? - double-decker imposed - viability issues due to double-decker - lender's reluctance to fund scope changes - No MoU - BMLTA unestablished The Red line situation is even worse with road tunnel issues. Expect metro delays/scrapping
Bengaluru Post@bengalurupost1

Bengaluru’s Orange Line Metro 🚇 got approvals years ago. Since then, commuters have aged, traffic has multiplied, fuel has been burnt, roads have suffered & presentations have probably received more movement than the actual project at MD’s Office. At this pace, @OfficialBMRCL may inaugurate the “proposal anniversary” before construction begins. 🙂 #Bengaluru #NammaMetro

Hello @BJP4India , You have 2 years to change the entire karnataka BJP leadership and get a fresh face to lead the team. The current BJP members are busy with adjustment politics while posting online protest against the govt but no reaction on ground. Currently Karnataka has no opposition. If you cannot change the leadership, then forget 2028 you cannot win until 2038 also !!

Bengaluru’s ₹40,000+ crore Twin Tunnel Road project a proposed underground corridor linking north and south Bengaluru) has now entered the geotechnical survey stage. Adani Enterprises is the lone bidder (not awarded as yet) and has commenced soil testing, borehole studies, utility mapping, and tunnel alignment investigations. The tunnel project has been criticised enormously expensive vanity project, but honestly it is the only long-term way to decongest core Bengaluru given the city ’s infrastructure crisis. Hoping this project succeeds, but given the city’s chronically abysmal urban governance capacity in managing infrastructure projects ( a system that struggles to complete a 1.5 km flyover even in a decade) Bengaluru should brace for the worst-case outcomes.

What Bengaluru needs is Mass Rail Transport systems, not Tunnels, to solve the congestion problem. Metro + Suburban Rail + Last Mile Connectivity is the solution. The Bengaluru Suburban Rail project is now being done on priority with an aim of providing Intermodal Connectivity in the city. Watch Union Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji’s views on this today while launching the Bengaluru Mumbai Bi Weekly Express Train.

@Tejasvi_Surya We are ready to come out into the streets to stop this tunnel road madness. No elected government should be allowed to continue a project that has so many objects from various institutions, not to mention against the wishes of the people of Bengaluru

If this statement is true, it is astonishing arrogance. I have said this before and I will say it again: The tunnel road project is a millionaire’s project for the benefit of millionaires. The ordinary Bengalurean pays for it through taxes, loses public money that should have gone to buses and Metro, and is then told not to use it if he cannot pay the toll. Nothing captures elitism better. Bengaluru needs public transport, not private luxury corridors. We are fighting against this in the court, we will fight it out on the streets as well.

@ChristinMP_ We need to be louder and clearer with our objections to this project. Very clearly the wrong direction for development in bengaluru. Takes away focus from the all important red line and also wastes precious resources

Citizens, students & groups including COLLECTIVE Bengaluru, Fridays For Future Karnataka & AISA Karnataka staged a protest against proposed Hebbal-Silk Board tunnel road project & submitted a representation to GBA Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao, demanding it be scrapped. Over 1,000 citizens endorsed the petition. Protesters cited environmental risks, lack of public consultation & high costs, arguing that the project prioritises private vehicles over public transport and contradicts Bengaluru’s climate & mobility goals @GBA_office @GBAChiefComm

Only Pune Bengaluru will help to grow Karnataka as maximum route passes through Karnataka but its in "Advanced stage" since last 3 years. And Mysuru Kushalanagar is also nowhere to be seen !! Rest all projects benefit other states than Karnataka. Btw Electronic City Elevated Expressway ? Dude seriously?
