Chief Murinye today used his truck to block a road to Riverton Academy Extension (Murinye), a new boarding school built in the area by Philimon Mutangiri. He ordered parents to take their children back home as the school is not going to open as scheduled tomorrow because Mutangiri did not get his permission to build the school. Mutangiri however dismissed the claims and told Masvingo Mirror that he actually connected electricity to the chief's homestead and bought a transformer for $7k. Mutangiri said the Chief is demanding for a contract to be signed in which all his children are going to attend the school for free.
