@cknsson @tekesCorner @SimDula Funny enough I thought of both of them when I posted it. But since you want to tension them — you should’ve tagged them on the finished product.

Dreadful News:
Terrorists attacked and attempted to murder innocent missionary students of the Theological College of Northern Nigeria (TCNN) Bukuru in Jos, Plateau State, yesterday.
The victims of the attack, who are students of the school, Joshua Ata Danlami, “Brother Pius,” alongside a third student, were returning from an evangelism outreach when they were ambushed by the terrorists.
All three students sustained severe injuries but fortunately escaped and are still alive, albeit severely injured. They are currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital.
On a daily basis, we witness that Christians are not safe in Nigeria. Please lend your voice and help create awareness about this issue.

What happened today in Ariko community, Kachia LGA, Kaduna State, Nigeria, is heartbreaking. Terrorists attacked worshippers during Easter Sunday services at St. Augustine Catholic Church and the nearby First ECWA Church, killing at least seven innocent people and abducting several others, including women and children.
This senseless violence turned a day meant for celebration and resurrection into one of grief and fear for the community.
Attacks on Christian gatherings have sadly become recurring in the Middle Belt region. They will still tell you it’s not religiously related.🤦🏽♀️💔

Why… why does it have to be like this, especially on a day meant for life, for hope, for resurrection
On this very day of Easter, when we are meant to celebrate victory over death, the sound of grief rises again from Mbalom, from Gwer East, from the hearts of innocent people whose only desire is to live in peace
Seventeen lives… and still counting
Families torn apart
Homes reduced to ashes
Voices silenced
Children missing
Mothers crying into the night
What kind of pain is this that refuses to end
What kind of darkness keeps chasing light even on a holy day like this
Oh God, where are the answers
Why must your children keep suffering like this
Why must blood speak louder than prayers in our land
My heart is heavy beyond words
I weep for every life lost
I ache for every mother who will not see her child again
I mourn for every family left in silence and fear
Lord, please receive the souls of the departed into Your eternal peace
Wipe the tears of Your people
Comfort the brokenhearted
And let Your justice rise, because this pain is too much for human hearts to carry
On this Easter day, instead of songs of joy, we cry
Instead of celebration, we mourn
But even in this darkness, we hold on to You, Lord
Because You are the only hope we have left
May Your light find Mbalom
May Your peace find Benue
And may this suffering not be in vain
Amen 💔

Yesterday when people were showing genuine concerns for Nigeria’s lightning fast jet scramble to stop a coup in Benin, the usual culprits flooded this entire space with their primitive defense and signature pathological braggadocio. They touted it all day as some type of achievement, for a nation whose Brigadier General died like a chicken, and hundreds of school children still remain in terrorists’ dens across the country.
Now see the shame - Burkina Faso ordering a Nigerian jet down into their territory. Jets we read in the news were scrambled from Lagos…what were they running from that they couldn’t avoid that airspace?
The whole world is seeing the difference between the two entities - one’s a nation and the other, a corporation.
No one violates the airspace or territorial integrity of any real nation and gets away with it. But terrorists and pretty much anyone can violate the airspace and territorial integrity of most corporations, especially the ones in Africa and get way with it. They can even livestream their violation and still get away with it.
This is why Africans are desperate for nationhood and true freedom. People are so freaking tired of living in colonial plantations disguised as nations in Africa. People are tired!

ECOWAS:
It's okay for leaders to abuse the constitution and the "Democratic" process of their countries. It's okay for one guy in Ivory Coast (Laurent Gbagbo) to be kicked out of office by the French military for challenging the results of an election.
But it's fine if another guy (Alassane Ouattarra) amends the constitution and goes for a fourth term.
It's okay for West African leaders to abuse their office and make a mess of their countries. Jail opposition leaders, jail journalists, impinge on the fabric of their societies.
It's fine. ECOWAS will be quiet.
But the moment those who are tasked with responsibility of protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the society steps in, ECOWAS begins to sh*t their pants.
Dear ECOWAS, if you don't want military intervention, then do better. Hold our leaders accountable. Don't be a rubber stamp institution.

Why Southern Kaduna Is Non Muslim: A History Many Don’t Know
A lot of people wonder why communities in Southern Kaduna remained non-Muslim, even though they lived right next to one of the largest Islamic empires in West Africa: the Sokoto Caliphate.
The answer is simple:
Islam didn’t spread into Southern Kaduna through preaching or peaceful missionary work.
It came through military expansion during the 1804–1808 Sokoto Jihad.
What many Southern Kaduna groups faced were not missionaries or teachers…
They faced raids, forceful incursions, slave-raiding campaigns, and attempts to subdue their autonomous hill communities.
And the people resisted.
All our ancestors defended their hills and refused to be conquered or assimilated.
That courage is why:
Our traditional systems survived
Our identities survived
And later, when the British came with missionaries, communities freely chose Christianity on their own terms, not at the point of a sword
Southern Kaduna didn’t reject Islam as a faith.
We simply rejected domination.
Our story is not about religion
It’s about freedom, resistance, and a people who refused to lose themselves.
Know your roots. Know your history.
