Those who are opposing the bill either: 1.lack knowledge of the contents of the bill, or 2.benefit from the suffering of the masses and the struggles of our economy.

Why are not going to court to sue Dr Tagwirei if he owes you?
Rutendo Matinyarare@matinyarare

𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘, 𝗦𝗢 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗡’𝗧 𝗞𝗨𝗗𝗔 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘? Temba, I understand that you are working, but don’t lie that my decision not to support CAB3 is about money. We both know my not supporting CAB3 has nothing to do with money or promises but the principle of not letting one family and a few greedy individuals butcher our constitution to make our nation their own private enterprise. I could've kept quiet and continued to make money from these people, but my conscience wouldn't allow. You said to a mutual friend three days ago that I've dug my own grave. So if you're on the right side of history and I'm on the wrong side, why try to save me from a grave that is already dug? Why not just cover me in the grave since your bosses are gods of MaDzimbabwe? Why worry about a nobody who has dug his own grave? For years you came to South Africa trying to convince me that vaMnangagwa and those around him must go, for younger people like you, Chamisa, Kasukuwere, Hopewell, myself, and others to ascend. You complained about how much of a liar Kuda was and how he couldn’t be trusted, but I didn't budge because I believed in unity around one leadership while we fought outsiders (sanctions), irrespective of my differences with that leadership. I remained loyal to that leadership, which I knew despised me, until we removed sanctions. Even after removing sanctions, I remained standing behind them despite all their unfulfilled promises because I knew stability come through unity. This is despite how I felt about that leadership. You even intervened when I told you there were rumors that Kuda sought to get me killed in September 2022 after he called me to come and get money to pay the South African lawyers money they were owed, and then he kept me waiting for two weeks. Have you now forgotten all that? Then in February 2026, the leadership introduced the amendment bill with many clauses that butcher our constitution and while we were still digesting that, they began to beat the opposition and those opposing this amendment. Here's where I drew the line and aired my views against an amendment to our constitution without referendum. I did this knowing that the system owes me money for work I did. I just couldn’t find it in my conscience to keep defending this abuse, and I wasn’t going to allow the money they owe me to keep me quiet. The work I did on sanctions and what I was promised is known to everyone in our circles, including you. We had various discussions about this, including on 23 January 2023 (listen attached). You also know that Kuda called me to come to Harare in October 2025 to give me money and a car after he begged me to keep fighting Geza. So him and I were cool until he started attacking me for not supporting CAB3. It's Kuda who decided to pay people to attack me on social media, forcing me to defend myself on the same platform. And instead of taking responsibility that he's forced me to defend myself, by taking it down a notch, he keeps sending people, now you, to accuse me of extortion, forcing me to again produce evidence that I didn't extort him. How stupid is that? Nevertheless, do what you're paid to do; I respect a man that works for his money, but it won’t change the fact that this constitutional amendment is wrong and being forced down people's throats, and I've decided not to support it. This won’t change. I'm not going to be distracted from that by jumping into a mud-fight about senseless allegations. Why would someone like me who fought a public war against sanctions and succeeded in removing them, need to extort an individual like Kuda when the work he commissioned on behalf of the President, which is worth millions, is still unpaid? I have every recording and written undertaking on what's owed and what was promised, but I won't focus on that right now because it takes our attention away from the real issue of #NoToCAB3.

ZanuPF Treasurer General - Patrick Chinamasa
Public Hearings soliciting people’s views and input on Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 were conducted in all 71 administrative districts of Zimbabwe by 11 Parliamentary teams. The consultation phase, spanning 90 days, was concluded on 2 April 2026. These hearings, covering all administrative districts of the country - 71 of them - went exceedingly well, and the people spoke boldly in support of Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3. These Public Hearings were all part of the 90-day consultation process, starting from 16 February 2026, soliciting public input into the Bill. The people spoke, and loudly so, in support of Number 3. The people unreservedly and overwhelmingly supported the proposed Constitutional Amendment Number 3 Bill. All went well countrywide except for the Public Hearing held at the City Sports Centre in Harare on Tuesday, 31 March 2026. This was the only bad apple, from what I can gather, among all public hearings held countrywide. The City Sports Centre Public Hearing was marred by agents provocateurs and the naivety of some Zanupf supporters, who failed to read that the end game of the agents provocateurs was to disrupt the proceedings without showing their hand, and to attract international attention and condemnation to the consultation process. I always give this example to those who care to listen: when a person attends a Public Hearing with a predictable, overwhelming 99.99% of Zanupf supporters, with the intention to express publicly and loudly a 0.01% opposition view, I consider that provocative to the 99.99% of the attendees. The reaction is predictable, by all accounts in Zimbabwe, as would be the case in any part of the world. I am sure those who have studied Behavioral Sciences will testify to this kind of behaviour by the masses at a mass gathering. Over the Easter religious events, the readings from the Bible revealed this predictable behaviour of the masses over the fate of Jesus Christ. The behaviour of the masses, when assembled together, is highly predictable. An assembled crowd of people of one mind does not take kindly to a differing viewpoint. I say this not to justify what happened at City Sports Centre, but to point out the frailty of human beings the world over, from time immemorial, and to highlight the foolishness of Doug Coltart and his ilk in attending that public hearing with the intention to voice opposition to Constitutional Amendment Number 3. Behaviorally, we are no different from the Jews of the year AD 33. I cannot conclude this piece without commenting on the allegation made against Zanupf Central Committee member, Cde Luckmore Tinashe Gapa, that he snatched lawyer Doug Coltart’s cellphone, and that this was caught on camera. This allegation is serious and highly defamatory against Cde Gapa, and causes reputational damage to the public image of Zanupf as an ideologically sound revolutionary party. Media reports that Doug Coltart has filed crime charges against Cde Luckmore Tinashe Gapa, a member of the Zanupf Central Committee, with the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), are understandable - well and good. If the Doug Coltart allegations are proven true in a court of law, this will constitute damning evidence against the Zanupf Central Committee member involved, Cde Luckmore Tinashe Gapa, and, as a consequence, he would not escape disciplinary charges against him by Zanupf. Cde Gapa, if convicted, stands to be hauled before the Zanupf National Disciplinary Committee, chaired by our National Chairman, Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, to answer to the charges. If convicted, Cde Luckmore Tinashe Gapa will not have a place of honour in the Zanupf Central Committee. You see, the Zanupf Central Committee is the highest organ of Zanupf in between Congresses, and is made up of people of high integrity and probity. It will not have room for someone convicted of snatching or stealing cellphones from members of the public, even if the victims are members of the opposition. As for young Doug Coltart, I regret that he has, most unfortunately and regrettably, inherited his father’s political Rhodesian Front genes. How I wish he had moved to the left politically and become a Zanupf youth cadre. He is being made to unfairly atone for the colonial sins of his father, David Coltart, the current Mayor of Bulawayo City Council. Those who have eyes, let them “eye”; and those who have ears, “ear”. Nokuti hatigoni kurega kutaura izvotakaona neizvotakanzwa.

🔶️The Peril of Selective Patriotism: Why Rutendo Matinyarare is Wrong on 2030🔶️ For years, Rutendo Matinyarare has been a standard-bearer for "Brand Zimbabwe," a fierce warrior against the illegal sanctions strangling our economy, and a voice of reason in the face of Western interference. However, his recent "No to 2030" crusade is a startling departure from the very pragmatism he once championed. By opposing Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, Matinyarare is inadvertently advocating for the very "election-related toxicity" and policy fragmentation that he has spent a lifetime fighting against. Here is why the "Yes to 2030" movement is not just a political preference, but a national necessity—and why Matinyarare’s current rhetoric misses the mark. 1. Stability is the Mother of Progress Matinyarare often speaks of "Vision 2030" as a noble goal. Yet, he fails to acknowledge that Vision 2030 requires 2030 Vision. You cannot build a skyscraper while changing the architectural team every five minutes. Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, by proposing a shift from five to seven-year terms, aligns Zimbabwe with successful, stable developmental models seen across the globe. It moves us away from "election mode"—a state where productive work halts every few years for political grandstanding—and toward a results-driven governance cycle. Continuity is the engine of the "Upper-Middle-Income" dream. 2. The Legalistic Trap Matinyarare’s argument relies heavily on a rigid, almost frozen interpretation of the 2013 Constitution. But a Constitution is a living document, not a suicide pact. Section 328 gives the Legislature the explicit power to amend the framework to suit the evolving needs of the people. To suggest that we are "crashing into a brick wall" by following the legal, parliamentary procedures of amendment is a contradiction. If we trust the Parliament to make our laws, we must trust them to refine our governance structures when the national interest demands it. 3. Ending the "Toxicity" of Direct Confrontation One of the most visionary aspects of the proposed amendments is the shift toward a parliamentary method for selecting the President. This is not "diminishing the role of the electorate," as critics suggest; it is strengthening institutional accountability. By reducing the high-stakes, winner-take-all nature of direct presidential elections, we neutralize the "toxicity" that external actors—the same ones Matinyarare fights—exploit to cause chaos. A parliamentary system ensures that the Executive is deeply rooted in the legislative branch, promoting harmony over friction. 4. Patriotism Means Seeing the Big Picture Matinyarare’s tweets lately sound less like a marketing strategist and more like a "career opposer." One cannot claim to be anti-sanctions while simultaneously opposing the internal stability required to make those sanctions irrelevant. 🔸️If you want a strong currency, you need a stable government. 🔸️If you want foreign investment, you need policy predictability. 🔸️If you want Vision 2030, you need the leadership that birthed it to see it through. While a tweet can spark a debate, it cannot build a nation. Matinyarare’s "No to 2030" stance is an academic luxury we cannot afford. We are in the middle of a national reconstruction project. Changing the foreman when the walls are halfway up is not "constitutionalism"—it is sabotage. It is time to look past the social media noise. Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 is about modernizing Zimbabwe, streamlining our democracy, and ensuring that the progress of the last few years isn't lost to the winds of political transition. Yes to stability. Yes to progress. Yes to 2030. #CAB3

This coming Tuesday is a big day for Zimbabwe and every citizen has every reason to celebrate because the RBZ will release the new ZiG notes, that is, ZiG10, ZiG20 and ZiG50 into circulation. The introduction of bigger ZIG denominations is a shot in the arm and is set to further strengthen our macroeconomic stability because, - these new notes have brand new designs, improved durability and more security features. - the RBZ has achieved single digit local currency inflation of 4.1% for the 1st time in 30 years. - the exchange rate has remained stable i n 2 0 2 5 between ZiG25-27 per US$ and parallel market premium contained below 20%. Many thanks to the government of Zimbabwe led by our hardworking President @edmnangagwa, the Ministry of Finance, the RBZ and other stakeholders for establishing this vibrant, durable and stronger currency which has been augmenting stability and economic growth. With these monetary measures in place, ZIG might emerge as one of the strongest currencies in Africa by 2030. #ZIGBHOO #EDBHOOO #EDWORKS

Asking why Sir Wicknell Chivhayo met President ED Mnangagwa at the airport is pointless. He’s a proud Zimbabwean businessman one of many who engage under the President’s open door policy. His work in philanthropy and empowerment aligns with Vision 2030. If you’re adding value to the nation you’ll find access. That’s how progress works

The narrative of "rising tension" and "civil unrest" being peddled by external media like @SABCNews is a total fabrication that ignores the reality of a nation in high spirits! Zimbabweans are actually beaming with joy and radiating smiles because the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (#CAB3) is the progressive game changer the people have been crying for to ensure long-term stability and poverty eradication. This bill is a bold step toward modernizing our governance and aligning us with successful global practices by extending terms to seven years to allow for the completion of massive infrastructure and economic projects that are already transforming lives. We are officially putting SABC News on notice: stop the "Unwrap Africa" propaganda and stop trying to mislead the world with stories of friction when our public hearings are actually filled with optimism and voices of support for President Mnangagwa’s continued vision. We categorically deny these allegations of a democratic backslide this is about national development, inclusive governance, and policy continuity that empowers marginalized communities. Zimbabwe has warmly welcomed this bill as a tool for peace and prosperity, and we demand that the media starts reporting on our happiness and our united march toward 2030! @SABCNews @ZBCNewsonline @edmnangagwa @nickmangwana @GeorgeCharamba2 @wicknellchivayo @zanupf_patriots @ZANUPF_Official @KMutisi @matinyarare @enkudheni @CMukungunugwa @Tinoten53374277 @SokoCindy @snowballOfficia @MulakazuvaL @ED4TheNation @dereckgoto @CrimeWatchZW @HeraldZimbabwe @SandileMakeba @drjaytee87 @shumbakadzi_zim @SimangalisoDub5 @Cde_Ostallos @BitiTendai @Sophie_Mokoena @zanupfbyoinfo @ZanuPFMabvuku @nelsonchamisa @ZizinjaAbelungu @Gigiiet
