The biggest slap in the face the UK government imposes on its most productive workers is the £100k income threshold. At this point, they tax 40% while also removing the tax free threshold giving a person an effective marginal tax rate of 60%. It’s the bureaucrats saying “we hate you for being successful”. It has the direct impact of making top talent leave the country or dial back their efforts. This tax threshold is responsible for a catastrophic loss of UK productivity.

It’s perfectly logical. A group of people - women and girls - currently have rights and protections predicated on their biological sex. If the group’s definition is altered in law to include men, surgically altered or not, women and girls lose all rights predicated on their sex.
