Congrats to @davidmeister_ and the team behind Axiom Trust! There are not many areas of fintech still undisrupted by fintech, but fiduciary administration is one of them. The team has deep background in this space and we're excited to back them (twice!) from @thefintechfund.

Today, Axiom Trust Company is launching publicly with $11.8M in funding led by @lightspeedvp, with participation from @WischoffVC, Runa Capital, SNR, @immad, Primetime Partners, and @thefintechfund. Trust administration is the last undigitized layer of financial infrastructure. The industry still operates on PDFs, email chains, and institutional memory. $2.5 trillion in wealth flows through trusts and estates every year — and that number is only growing. Global crypto payments network @meshpay just closed a $75M Series C funding round 🚀 This brings its total amount raised to over $200M, valuing the company at $1B. What's really important is that this raise accelerates Mesh’s expansion into LatAm, Asia and Europe, strengthening a global network that already reaches more than 900 million users worldwide. A portion of Mesh’s $75M Series C was settled using stablecoins to demonstrate that this infrastructure is ready for high-stakes, real-world use. Global fintech funding is on the rebound: ▶️ $53 billion raised in 2025, up 21% from 2024. ▶️ 5,918 deals ▶️ The United States remained the dominant market, attracting $25.1 billion, followed by the UK ($3.6 billion), India ($3.4 billion), the UAE ($2.5 billion), and Singapore ($2 billion). ▶️ The top five global deals were Binance ($2 billion, UAE), Ramp ($1 billion, US), Kraken ($800 million, US), FNZ ($650 million, UK), and PhonePe ($600 million, India).

It’s been a whirlwind year for @TheFintechFund. The fund is into its fourth year of investing, and after 3 years of background work, chopping wood, and conviction – 3 years in which fintech was radioactive and nobody believed in stablecoins – it’s exciting to see the work start to pay off.
