in mexico city recently on an airbnb experience the guides didn't show up until about 10 minutes before the live event we were supposed to see. we left before and got our own tickets. there was supposed to be a dinner, and some other things before the live event. we also left an honest review. the outfit was kind enough to refund us, but upon doing that was able to remove our review. airbnb is trash. they're just middle men with 0 customer service.

Airbnb, this is unacceptable. @Airbnb We stayed in a listing where loud drilling (building maintenance) made it impossible to work during the day. We raised this respectfully. After checkout, the host started contacting us repeatedly on WhatsApp, pushing for calls and making inappropriate comments when we refused. We left an honest, factual review. Airbnb removed it. If real experiences can be erased while this kind of behavior is ignored, how can anyone trust this platform?

lmao. I did this in Paris a few years ago. I recognized a handful of words in each dish, and was pretty hungover. I thought I was getting some sorta veal cutlet. I fumbled through ordering it in french. The waiter comes back, and says in english, "Excellent choice, very healthy." Veal kidneys. The flavor was the most intense thing I've ever eaten. I had like 2.5 and felt like an asshole.
