How well I remember that day. Both the joy all over New York and the horrifically racist comments from some NYPD as they corralled people celebrating in Times Square. It was a sign of things to come.

Guy next to me on overnight 6:30pm ATL to Madrid flight (US passport, Spanish accent) puts on his eye mask the moment he sits down and does not remove it for the entire 8 hour flight. Honestly the most baller, disciplined jet lag prevention I’ve ever seen. Kinda hot, too.
