As the government advances funding mechanisms for the Nuclear Energy Project in Siaya, communities should not be left behind. Development must never come at the expense of public participation and transparency. Join the #OurEnergyOurCoice campaign; westernkenyasjcwg@gmail.com

We have witnessed a disturbing surge in image-based abuse targeting women💔 We call on @X to take immediate accountability and implement effective mitigation measures regarding the use of @grok, which is increasingly being weaponized to facilitate image-based abuse. @elonmusk

As the afternoon rolled into evening at the National Youth Convention 2025, the momentum only grew stronger. The panel discussion on Building Alternatives brought together powerful voices, Sungu Oyoo, Maghanga Lewis, and Wanjira Wanjiru, with Faith Kasina guiding the conversation. The dialogue was followed by a thought-provoking table talk on the Shrinking Civic Space and Katiba at 15 reminding us of the urgent need to safeguard constitutional gains and expand democratic freedoms. We wrapped up the day with clarity: the youth are not just resisting oppression but actively imagining and building the alternatives needed for a just and inclusive Kenya. #YouthLeadership #youthconvention2025 #YouthLeadPeace

Rest in Power Marinos. Our country was captured by rogues that thrive on lawlessness at the expense of innocent men, women and children. Justice must be brought to book. We shall overcome

We must push back that the regime stops to take any citizens life for granted. Another clear example is that of #Marino who after her torture, the same regime framed, perhaps intimidate her and that's how her case disappeared without serving Justice. #FreeEricMwesigwa

Huruma Police beat up those arrested on 7/7/25, after asking for food and water. This young man was beaten and later released when they realized the injuries were grave. The courts too, have become complicit as they are working with the state to extend the illegal detention.

Shooting civilians, regardless of where, is an outrageous violation of the law and human rights. It is deeply concerning that such an act could be framed as acceptable. "Mr. Ruto Kenya cannot afford a message that emboldens a trigger-happy police force. Stand down!".

SabaSaba day relevance to the Current Political and Economic Problems in Kenya. 1. Corruption and Governance: The lessons from Saba Saba Day are highly relevant to current issues like corruption, mismanagement, and lack of transparency in governance. 2. Economic Inequality: The day's reflections on economic justice and equality remain pertinent, given the ongoing challenges of poverty, unemployment, and unequal distribution of resources in Kenya. 3. Accountability and Leadership: Saba Saba Day serves as a reminder of the need for leaders to be accountable to the people and to prioritize the welfare of citizens. #SabaSaba2025 #SabaSabaRevolutionDay @UhaiWetu @Article43Rights @haki_iwengao @UririSJC @AmkeniC @KiamaikoC
