Follow-up:
Prayer is powerful.
But Veterans in crisis also need follow-through: access to safe mental health care, Community Care coordination, transportation, and providers they can trust.
For some MST survivors, faith-based care is not a preference. It is the doorway to treatment.
If VA publicly supports Scripture, worship, fellowship, and prayer, then VA should also help Veterans access faith-based mental health care when clinically needed.
