The problem is not how council votes it’s how Portland votes. Multi member rank choice single transferable voting gives overpowered voices to extreme fringe radical notions of governance. Defunding or diverting PPB $ is proof. Portland was royally played at the ballot box

Some city councilors are threatening to cut public safety. The Mayor’s budget fully funds needed services, including first responders. Join your neighbors and support a common sense budget that funds needed services. 5/17 2:00pm Jefferson High. @DanRyanPDX @MayorKWilson #supportfirstresponders

Here's some alarming new homelessness data - spending has increased over 1000% in 10 years, yet homelessness continues to set records each year. Other cities have achieved more with less; it's time for Multnomah Co. to focus on outcomes, not just spending money! #followthemoney

mobilize.us/partnershipfor… MultCo spending on homeless services is up 1000%, yet more people than ever are living on the streets. Want to know why? Sign this petition for an INDEPENDENT financial audit of homeless spending. To do better, first we have to know what we’re doing wrong.

We can’t turn our backs on people in desperate need of help. HB 2467 would be a lifeline for those suffering and the families trying to help them. @NAMIOregon @blanchethouse

wweek.com/news/city/2025… Other cities are figuring out ways to build more low cost housing. Some Portland city councilors are more interested in adding to bureaucratic hurdles and ramming it through without charter-required public comment. Thanks @EZ_PDX and @danryanpdx for wanting public input!

One leader who’s not accountable: @MultCo Chair @jvegapederson. After years of not spending dollars quickly enough, we learn about a $104 million shortfall. Our governor can’t tell where the money went. Lives are at stake – open the books for all to see! wweek.com/news/2025/03/0…

THANK YOU!! Thank you to everyone who has helped us throughout this campaign. We have worked hard. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this campaign. To my wife, my daughter, my team, my volunteers, my endorsers, and all of the voters. Thank you for believing in me. The results are not what we had hoped but regardless we are proud of ourselves for the hard work we have accomplished. I congratulate Meghan Moyer who will be our next Multnomah County Commissioner for District 1. This loss does not mean that I will give up. I believe in our city and county and I believe that we will restore what’s be lost and grow what is yet to become. We will keep fighting. Thank you all again. Vadim
