Visual sets are going to become massive in 2026.
Oren mentioned this before, but doubling down.
As the short-form feed conforms to simplest route of scaled production, the easiest way to cut through visually will be to have a signature visual "in world" set.
If you're a podcast, like @markbrazil, having a unique 1/1 visual set & look is a massive differentiator.
The clips just jump off the feed compared to everything else.
I think set design and "world building" will ultimately extend to all YouTubers and eventually all education content on all forms.
We've already seen this on Youtube for a while, but it will triple down as you'll be able to build virtual sets with AI that look indistinguishable from reality.
Sets are one of those things that are painfully annoying to design/build initially, but once cracked, are one of the highest ROI moves you can make.
My homie @theKevinShen is the best at bringing these to life IRL.
He also has a sick database of visual inspiration for people looking to upgrade their physical space (maybe he'll link it here).

@RafalTomal @lovable Nice! Just got a job at a cybersecurity company and they're pretty strict about what apps you can download on the company computer (as you can imagine) and both my time tracking app and to-do list app are unfortunately not on the list! Trying this it out today.
English

Couldn’t find a perfect to-do app so I built my own with @lovable. No logins. No distractions. Just your list, saved right in your browser.
Check it out: mono-list.lovable.app

@jasonportnoy @beehiiv @kit Biased but I'm team Kit.
I run my own newsletter for WFH dads out of there.
Love being able to have a mini-website that showcases my past newsletter issues, links to my socials, products, etc.
You can see mine here:

@danielgtaylor @kit Daniel - really sorry about this. Did you end up getting a hold of support? If not, could you DM me the email tied to your account and the issue you're running into?
English

It seems @kit has reached maximum capacity as they no longer provide customers with support. As such, I'll cease recommending them to clients and find another email service.
English

@StriftCodes @kit Hey Laurent - could you share more of your workflow?
If you schedule an email, then go to the Broadcast page and click 'Edit,' it should keep the scheduled time.
In the past, you would have to unschedule it to edit but we changed that last year.

@nathanbarry I used Streaks for a year but have moved to @HabitKit.
The visuals of the filled in squares are so much more motivating and the general UI of the app is a lot better in my opinion.
English

@RafalTomal 100%.
I’d argue that working from home and working fewer hours makes me more productive than going into an office where I have ‘all day’ to get my work done.
Smaller time windows creates more of a sense of urgency. Also known as Parkinson’s Law.

@nathanbarry @stephsmithio @hutchins @hristo_vassilev @chenellco @businessbarista @ChrisAmrod Hope you had the jalapeño ranch at Chuys. I could drink that stuff.
English

Had a fun dinner last night with so many great newsletter folks. Including @stephsmithio @hutchins @hristo_vassilev @chenellco @businessbarista @ChrisAmrod and more!

I'm thinking about going to @kit's conference this year. Who else is going? kit.com/conference
English

@jethrojones @nathanbarry @jayclouse @JamesClear @kit Jethro! Fancy seeing you here in the comments.
It’s actually here in Austin and a few of us Kit team members are sitting together.
Was nice for me to have somewhere to go after dropping my kids off at school today, haha.
Nathan is speaking later today on creator flywheels.
English

Listening to @jayclouse talk about @jamesclear’s flywheel for growing his @kit newsletter at the Newsletter Marketing Summit.

English

@jayradio @robertoblake @kit @WallyMcCarthy7 Sure thing Jason. Ping me if you’ve got any feedback while you’re setting it up.
English

@WFHdads @robertoblake @kit @WallyMcCarthy7 Finally got to watch this, thanks for taking the time. Very interesting...I'll have to start playing with it.
English

If @kit gave out physical awards for growing your email list to 10,000, 100K and 1M email subscribers…
I can promise your more people would switch over to Kit and would be growing their email lists.
English

@rainar_angelo @kit @WFHdads I’ve been at it since morning. My webinar is tomorrow. Every 3 hours I’m losing sales 😖 the initial talks as quick and the moment they said they’ll connect me to a technical person I haven’t got any response since 6 hours.
English

@kit trying for help since 5 hours. It’s super urgent but no response since morning.
Please help me log into my account!
English

@louisnicholls_ @fibercove would be a good coworking space.
@cosmicaustin would be a good coffee house (lots of outside space with picnic tables and food trucks)
English

@mattragland Yeah a few days a week, my first hour of the day goes to creating for WFH Dads.
Having it first on the calendar ensures it gets done.
English

I had a big aha! moment about six months ago that completely changed how I prioritize my work.
I realized that when I’m not creating—when I’m not making things myself—I feel less inspired to teach and coach others on their creative journey. I was trying to fill up others when my own cup was empty, and it was leading to burnout.
So I made a shift: 2025 is about being a creator first, and a coach or operator second. If I’m not building, I’m not growing. That has to be the priority.
It made me wonder... how do you prioritize different types of work in your life? Are you putting your most meaningful work first?
English

@jayradio @robertoblake @kit @jayradio @WallyMcCarthy7 made a short Loom walking through how to use Recommendations to get more email subscribers
English

@WFHdads @robertoblake @kit Hmmm...don't think so, I've just transferred some of my stuff over from Substack and making sure things are working correctly...I'll have to explore that.
English

@jayradio @robertoblake @kit Jason - have you started using Recommendations?
I started my WFH Dads newsletter last year and half the growth has come from other creators recommending my newsletter to their audience.
English

@robertoblake @kit I have Kit...but my list growth is currently negligible.
