This is a YUGE deal in no uncertain terms. For starters, this essentially removes US tax dollars from under the control of NGO's who largely ran with their own (deep state) agenda with our money. Now, Congress still manages the appropriation of the pots of money they allocate. That doesn't change. Only now the President—via his State Dept—will enjoy much more direct Executive-level leverage/sway over who gets what, how much they get, and under what conditions they get it. For Trump, everything is about negotiations, and he just effectively awarded himself another thumpin' stick while simultaneously bankrupting the left's NGO grift.

Fine, I guess. But I’d vastly prefer much of this foreign aid be terminated and reallocated domestically. This was supposed to happen during DOGE’s nascent efforts. And then the gutless cowards in Congress scrapped virtually all of it. Like a junkie hooked on dope, Washington just cannot get itself off the spending.

Why does LA provide a free lawyer to a tenant but not to a landlord? A tenant stops paying rent and gets a free lawyer to fight an eviction. A landlord doesn't receive his rent and needs to file an eviction out of his own funds. Does this sound fair and equitable to you?

2 Republican gay men wearing MAGA hats were asked to leave a gay bar in San Diego because the manager said it was “offensive.” Patrons who threw food and drinks at the Log Cabin Republican group were allowed to stay. There’s even a sign outside calling the bar a “safe space.”

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors is voting Tuesday to spend your tax dollars on lawyers to fight deportation cases. Let that sink in. They want to partner with the Mexican Consulate to expand the County's legal defense program for people here illegally. They want to use your libraries, your health clinics, and your social services offices to distribute materials telling people how to avoid federal immigration agents. President Trump shut down the border on Day One. Crossings dropped. Enforcement resumed. The law is finally being enforced after years of chaos. And the Board majority's response is to use your money to fight it. The people of El Cajon didn't ask for this. They asked for safer streets, lower costs, and a government that works for them. Not lawyers for illegal immigrants.
