We need to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump. Threatening war crimes is a blatant violation of our constitution and the Geneva Conventions.

@RepMcClintock Iranian-American Republicans outright disagree with any endorsement of the NCRI/MEK. That organization does not represent the Iranian people, and associating the Republican Party with it is a serious mistake. The Iranian American Republican Council rejects this position and urges all Republicans to stand with the Iranian people, not Islmo-Marxist exile groups with terrorist histories and American blood on their hands. Support for NCRI/MEK will carry serious political consequences within our community. #freeiran

One of the most disturbing and under talked about stories right now in the United States is the fact that People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), also known as Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) MEK is passing out money to GOP operatives and lobbyists to influence the outcome of the Iranian people led regime change in Iran. MEK is being pushed as an alternative to the Islamic regime in Iran, when in reality they are the same thing, dressed up in colorful clothing. MEK was responsible for the death of U.S. military officers and contractors in Iran between 1973 and 1976. MEK is a terrorist, Marxist and Islamist cult that is rejected inside Iran. It is critical to note they murdered American soldiers, celebrated the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks on New York City, and are longtime allies of the PLO Islamic terrorist organization, among having involvement in other atrocities. Until a decade ago, MEK was designated as a terrorist group in the US and Canada. Their terror designation was removed by Hillary Clinton @HillaryClinton under the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama @BarackObama, who enabled and funded the Iranian regime, paving the way for the disastrous Iran Nuclear Deal. On May 8, 2018, President Donald Trump announced the United States' withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), otherwise known as the Iran nuclear deal. Obama’s policies on Iran resulting in the rise of Iranian backed Islamic terror, and the death of many US soldiers. I’ll be reporting on this more. If you are a conservative or GOP lobbyist and you are taking money to promote Islamic terrorism and further the oppression of the Iranian people, I am going to expose you and publicly humiliate you. I will also report you to the @StateDept and @FBI. If you have information about any GOP officials who are taking money from MEK to spread their terrorist propaganda, please contact the Loomered Tip Line. loomered.com/tip-line/

Statement from Rep. McClintock and @RepCohen: As Co-Chairs of the Iran Human Rights and Democracy Caucus and cosponsors of H.Res 166, (Expressing support for the Iranian people’s desires for a democratic, secular, and nonnuclear Republic of Iran, and condemning the Iranian regime’s terrorism, regional proxy war, internal suppression, and for other purposes) — which states that “the Iranian regime has arbitrarily and brutally suppressed ethnic and religious minorities, including Iranian Kurds, Baluchis, Arabs, Christians, Jews, Baha’is, Zoroastrians, and even Sunni Muslims, and has deprived them of their fundamental human rights, often culminating in executions” — we reaffirm our unwavering support for the rights of Iran’s ethnic and religious minorities. The autonomy of the people of Kurdistan, along with equal citizenship, cultural rights, and meaningful participation in governance, must be central to any democratic vision for Iran. We endorse the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)’s autonomy plan affirming Kurdish self-governance while fully safeguarding Iran’s territorial integrity and national cohesion, demonstrating that minority rights and national unity are compatible. The Iranian people have suffered under decades of repression. Any vision for Iran’s future must reject authoritarianism in all its forms and affirm that the rights of ethnic and religious minorities are fundamental and inalienable. We urge the Department of State to reject any suppression of Iran’s ethnic communities and to keep minority rights central to U.S. policy.
