However, Dylan says the biggest value of joining the Thiel Fellowship wasn't the money or connections: "$100K over two years was amazing, but the community was just even more special." "It's just so lonely to start a company when you're younger." "The class I was with I got to know well, and they're doing amazing stuff. Still some of them are really dear friends." " The chance to be with this group of people and socialize with them for me, was very important." "That was the biggest value that I did not even expect from that program."
