$ASTS: This indicates that at least the next 3x launches will be with SpaceX Falcon-9 for a total of 9x Block-2 Bluebirds (8 through 16). By the time these are done, Blue Origin New Glenn should be ready to launch commercial cargo, of course after completing a successful launch of Amazon Leo satellites. If not, there are more Falcon-9 launches planned. One interesting thing to note is that I believe (per AI analysis) that Blue Origin New Glenn certification process for Space Force resets back to zero with the latest mishap. So they'll need to do 4x successful commercial launches in a row before doing any Space Force missions. This opens up the launch manifest for more commercial cargo in the near term. Great find by @hb_lon

$ASTS = UNDERVALUED
CK Capital@CKCapitalxx

$ASTS is at $93 with a $35 billion market cap. SpaceX is targeting a $1.75 trillion IPO valuation. Starlink, their satellite connectivity business, is estimated at roughly $1.17 trillion of that, representing about 67% of the total value. Now compare the two businesses side by side. Starlink competes with carriers. They built their own hardware, their own subscriber base, and they fight for every customer against the same telecoms that already own the relationship. Customer acquisition is expensive. The addressable market is people willing to buy new hardware and switch providers. $ASTS gets paid by the carriers. AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, 50+ operators representing 3 billion existing subscribers. Zero customer acquisition cost. No hardware change required. The carriers flip a switch and their entire subscriber base gains satellite coverage overnight. The business model does not compete with the industry. It powers it. Starlink is valued at $1.17 trillion. $ASTS is valued at $35 billion. Same technology category. Arguably better business model. 33x valuation difference. If $ASTS ever reaches half of Starlink’s implied valuation that is $585 billion. On roughly 390 million fully diluted shares that is over $1,500 per share from $93 today. Half. Not equal. Half. The market is pricing $ASTS like a startup. The contracts, the satellites, and the carrier relationships say otherwise.

I had two very, very close friends both lose their exceptionally loving fathers in the last week. My heart breaks for them & their families. It’s a good reminder to tell your parents you love them, to give them a hug and to spend time with them.

SATELLITE WILL FILL GAPS IN AT&T’S FIRSTNET EMERGENCY NETWORK AT&T’s FirstNet public safety network plans to offer satellite connectivity to first responders in the first half of 2026 to fill gaps in nationwide coverage. FirstNet President Scott Agnew told Fierce, “You need a layered approach when deploying a public safety network.” AT&T’s mobile network covers nearly 3 million square miles in the U.S. The telco also uses a fleet of deployables such as cell-towers-on-wheels, which can be delivered to areas that have been hit by disasters. “Now, this is that satellite layer that's going to go fill out that white space area for public safety,” said Agnew. In fact, in December some public safety organizations connected to the FirstNet network in West Texas on AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird satellites in orbit. AT&T’s commercial mobile network and the FirstNet public-safety network are tightly integrated, and they’re both working with the satellite operator AST SpaceMobile to provide satellite connectivity to consumers and first responders. Currently, AST SpaceMobile has deployed six of its super-large satellites into orbit. AST says it’s planning to have 45-60 satellites in orbit by the end of 2026, although some analysts question whether that’s feasible. In addition to satellites, the partners also need ground gateways. AST SpaceMobile deploys satellite dishes and equipment used to communicate with the satellites, while AT&T provides the transport and other gateway equipment to interface to the mobile network. Fierce asked Agnew how many AST satellites need to be in orbit to provide FirstNet coverage across the contiguous U.S. “We’re still working that through,” said Agnew. “There's still testing going on. But our expectation is that we are going to provide 100% continental U.S. based coverage, not just text messaging, but voice capabilities, data capabilities, mission critical capabilities.” Both AT&T and FirstNet are hedging on the question of when they will deliver satellite service to customers and first responders. Agnew would only say that FirstNet plans to conduct beta tests of satellite service in the first half of this year. And he said FirstNet is being prioritized over commercial customers. One of the big public safety benefits of FirstNet is that it operates over dedicated spectrum at Band 14. And FirstNet has priority and preemption on all of AT&T’s spectrum bands. Agnew said that when satellite connectivity is included in FirstNet’s coverage, it will also have priority over commercial traffic. In related news, FirstNet recently introduced its FirstNet Fusion client, which is a mission critical push-to-talk application that allows multiple first responders to communicate with each other at the same time. It can connection teams across almost any radio system or wireless provider. The Fusion client will be launched in the first half of 2026. And Agnew said, “We have actually tested the Fusion product over satellite.” As of the third quarter 2025, FirstNet serves 7.8 million public safety connections. Is AST a good bet? Fierce asked Agnew if AT&T feels a little behind on the satellite front, given that T-Mobile is already providing its mobile customers with emergency satellite texting through its partnership with SpaceX's Starlink. Agnew said, “I think we're ensuring that we get it right and that we have the latest technology and the best technology that's going to provide the best performance, speeds, battery life and coverage. I think getting this right was the most important thing.” $ASTS $T @FirstNet

To put Andres' projection into context starting with his 2030 projections: Only about 12-15 publicly available companies are consistently achieving greater than $11B in annual FCF. Half of them have a market cap over $1T, and the smallest sits around $400B. This would put the AST share price around $1000/share. Even Netflix doesn't currently produce $11B in FCF. The optionality this provides ASTS in the future is massive - whether through buy backs, dividends, M&A, new business lines, or just a shit ton more satellites - the sky is the literal limit. $ASTS

$ASTS: 🇲🇽 Did you know that Altan, owned by the Mexican government, provides wholesale cellular network capacity utilizing 700MHz across the entirety of the country? Altan offers its service to MVNOs and traditional MNOs as part of a government initiative to lower barriers to entry, encourage price competition, and expand coverage, especially in underserved or rural regions. 🤯 AST SpaceMobile's partnership w/ Altan basically locks up the entire Mexican wireless market for Direct-to-Cell broadband connectivity.

$ASTS: 🚨AST SPACEMOBILE LAUNCHES BIGGEST SATELLITE TO CHALLENGE SPACEX - BLOOMBERG By Sana Pashankar AST SpaceMobile Inc. launched its largest-ever satellite from India, the first in a series of deployments to help the company compete against Elon Musk’s SpaceX in delivering space-based connectivity to mobile phones. The BlueBird 6 satellite took flight at 8:55 a.m. local time from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in southern India aboard the Indian Space Research Organization, or ISRO’s LVM3 rocket. It reached the low-Earth orbit in about 16 minutes, the livecast on YouTube showed. The successful launch is a big boost for the Texas-based company as well as India’s space program which wants to build its orbital space station among other ambitious projects. ISRO’s LVM3, which carried AST’s satellite, has launched Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-3 and two OneWeb missions carrying 72 satellites in the past. AST, which has five smaller commercial satellites in orbit, wants to launch as many as 60 more of the next-generation ones in 2026. It also plans on pairing its satellites with typical cellular coverage to serve users in areas that otherwise would have limited or no connectivity and has signed partnerships with AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc., Vodafone Group Plc and other cellular providers. The company expects to deliver this service as it becomes operational in some parts of the US and four other countries in early 2026. SpaceX’s Starlink has its own partnership with T-Mobile US Inc. in the burgeoning direct-to-device market. AST SpaceMobile went public in April 2021 after merging with special purpose acquisition company New Providence Acquisition Corp. At the close of trading on Tuesday, the company’s stock price had gained about 300% this year.
