@biologistimo I’ve got the exact same thing going on with a paper too. I reached out to the managing editor to ask if they could confirm that we did the minor edits that would satisfy the reviewers… but no. It’s still waiting on another full review. Ugh!

The journal was unable to find reviewers for months, so I'm increasingly concerned about a second (unnecessary?) full review, particularly as the paper is not going to the original reviewers. It's been in this stage for two months. Is this normal? The review was so positive!

Publishing question: we've had a manuscript in review for seven months. We received minor revisions five months in, returned the manuscript with the requested (very minor, very non-technical) edits, and the editor is sending is out for a second full review... 1/2
