ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต แจงกรณีอากาศยานขัดข้องบนทางวิ่ง ไม่มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บ และเร่งดำเนินการตามมาตรฐานความปลอดภัย วันที่ 11 มีนาคม 2569 ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต (ทภก.) ชี้แจงกรณีอากาศยานของสายการบิน Air India Express เที่ยวบิน AXB938 เส้นทางบิน ไฮเดอราบัด (HYD) – ภูเก็ต (HKT) เกิดเหตุขัดข้องบนทางวิ่งภายหลังการลงจอด อากาศยานดังกล่าวเป็นแบบ Boeing 737-800 หมายเลขทะเบียน VT-BWQ เดินทางถึงท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตก่อนเวลาตามแผน โดยมีกำหนดการลงจอดเวลา 11.40 น. และลงจอดจริงเวลา 11.24 น. บนเครื่องมีลูกเรือจำนวน 7 คน ผู้โดยสารขาเข้า 131 คน และทารก 2 คน จากการตรวจสอบเบื้องต้นพบว่า อากาศยานมีการลงจอดในลักษณะ Hard Landing ส่งผลให้ชุดเกียร์ ล้อหน้าของอากาศยานได้รับความเสียหาย ทำให้อากาศยานไม่สามารถเคลื่อนย้ายออกจากทางวิ่งได้ในทันที อย่างไรก็ตาม ไม่มีรายงานผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ตได้ดำเนินการออกประกาศนักบิน (NOTAM) ตั้งแต่เวลา 12.08-18.00 น. เพื่อแจ้งปิดทางวิ่งเป็นการชั่วคราว พร้อมทั้งประสานหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าควบคุมสถานการณ์ และดำเนินการตามขั้นตอนด้านความปลอดภัยของท่าอากาศยานอย่างเคร่งครัด

Thousands of Ukrainians fled the war in their country in search of safety. Many found refuge in the UAE. The last thing they expected was to be caught up in another conflict.
Olga who lost her husband in the war, was displaced multiple times across Ukraine, and eventually rebuilt her life in the UAE. Now she says the fears she thought she left behind have returned. The last thing she wants is to be uprooted again. My story for @Independent today.

Oman Air has introduced a paid bus service between Sharjah and Muscat.
The twice daily service is available for those holding valid Omani visas and onward flight tickets.

In 2019, the DGCA notified the passenger rights charter for air travel. Its key feature was a 24- hour window to make changes to a ticket for free, which was yesterday in a notification extended to 48-hours. More importantly, the regulator now holds airlines solely responsible for refunds even when a booking is made through an agent or booking portal. Pressing demands for higher compensation for delays and cancellations remain unheeded.

Canadian seaplane maker De Havilland is evaluating opportunities for supply chain partnerships globally to support its operations.

The massive controversy post the AI-171 tragedy, the Indigo crisis, Ajit Pawar crash & the fuel switch issue of AI-132, this current DGCA administration is probably facing the biggest spotlight ever in its history, given its dreadful record of the past 12-18 months, with officers with dubious records.
With a MOCA that is blind & a regulator that is deaf, there is a crisis of confidence amongst passengers, stakeholders & the global aviation world alike.
It’s time for a revolution of accountability & change in Indian Aviation - is this @narendramodi government up for it ? Or do we need the Courts to intervene yet again to course correct ?
