I travel frequently between Delhi and Dehradun. The media keeps hyping the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway like it’s a game changer. Earlier, it took 4–5 hours with a break. Now, even with the expressway, it’s still around 4 hours. Google Maps shows 3:45. Add a 15-minute break and you’re back to roughly the same time. ₹12,000 crore spent to save barely 40–50 minutes.

This wise and mature statement should put an end to the revisionism over Bangladesh’s liberation encouraged until not long ago. PM Tarique Rahman’s later father General Ziaur Rahman was among the first East Bengal Regiment officers to rise in revolt on the night 25th March. He was a major then and made the first ‘broadcast’ proclaiming Bangladesh
Tarique Rahman@trahmanbnp

March 25, 1971 is observed as Genocide Day. On the occasion of Genocide Day, 1 pay my deepest respect to all the martyrs. In the history of freedom-loving Bangladesh, 25 March 1971 remains one of the most disgraceful and brutal days. On that dark night, the Pakistani occupation forces carried out one of the most heinous genocides in history against the unarmed people of Bangladesh in the name of 'Operation Searchlight". They indiscriminately opened fire on teachers, intellectuals and innocent civilians at various places, including Dhaka University, Pilkhana and Rajarbāgh Police Lines, killing many people. The genocide of 25 March was a pre-planned massacre. Why this organised killing spree could not be resisted remains a matter of historical research regarding the visible role of the political leadership of that time. However, on the night of 25 March, the 8th East Bengal Regiment in Chattogram formally initiated armed resistance against the genocide by declaring 'We Revolt'. Through this resistance to genocide, the long nine-month armed Liberation War began. To convey the value and significance of independence to the present and future generations, it is essential to know about the genocide of 25 March as well. Let us all strive to honour the sacrifices of the martyrs by establishing in the state and society the spirit of the great Liberation War - equality, human dignity and social justice. Let us work together to build a just, developed, prosperous, self-reliant and democratic Bangladesh. I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant forgiveness and eternal peace to the departed souls of all the martyrs. On the occasion of Genocide Day on 25 March. I wish every success to all the programmes organised to observe the day.

🚨 INDIA RIGGED THE T20 WORLD CUP 🚨 - This is clear evidence that India rigged the T20 World Cup Final. When India was batting, the ball was coming nicely onto the bat and they kept scoring runs like it was a batting paradise. There was no swing either. - But when New Zealand came out to bat, the ball suddenly started to swing and spin, and now it has become very difficult for them to bat. This looks like clear cheating; there might be some changes with the ball or the Indian batters bats. - ICC should take strong notice of this. It is very unfair not only to New Zealand but to the entire cricketing world. 👎🏼

🚨 Infinia Holders Worried About 18L Spend Rule? Read This. After HDFC Bank’s recent update, many fear ₹18L annual spend or downgrade to HDFC Diners Club Black Metal. But let’s break it logically 👇 ₹18L per year = ₹1.5L per month Assume: • ₹50K/month on vouchers • Rest on normal spends or 5X/10X (Myntra, Jockey, Pharmeasy etc.) 👉 On accelerated spends, rewards are SAME on both cards. Now the real math: ₹6L yearly on vouchers Infinia earns 2X more than DCB Difference ≈ 6.66% of ₹6L = ₹40K But… With DCB Metal, if you spend ₹4L per quarter You get ₹10K per quarter milestone ₹10K × 4 = ₹40K annually 🎯 Net Impact = ZERO If you’re hitting ₹18L spends anyway, Infinia vs DCB Metal = practically no difference. Sometimes the downgrade fear is just psychology. Run the numbers before you panic.
milesmint@milesmintIN

First set of Infinia customer: 18L or 50L RLV Next set of Infinia customers : spend 3L in next 2 months or 30L RLV Waiting for other two set of Infinia customers conditions

As we hear about the death of #Khamenei & what's happening to #Iran & earlier what happened to Ukraine, no matter what side of the political divide we are let us bow down to our heros martyr Indira Gandhi ji, late Atal ji & the 100s of patriotic Indian nuclear scientists who made sure India has a credible nuclear deterrence & is a nuclear power. These scientists did not leave India for better opportunities but worked here and protected our mother-land ! Also gratitude& naman to former PM late Dr Manmohan Singh ji & current PM Modi ji for enhancing our nuclear capabilities. Jai Hind Jai Bharat 🙏

In 2019 I filed a cheque bounce case under Section 138 for 400000 towards professional services rendered for audit and various compliances. Even in 2026 I am still fighting the same case. In these 8 years I have hardly missed any hearing. But the Accused SAYED HUSSIAN RIZVI is often absent sometimes he doesnt appear sometimes his advocate is absent & on many occasions a junior comes only to seek another date. I have faced this repeatedly over the years. Now I genuinely feel lost. Despite having all the proof justice still seems far away. What makes it harder is seeing him recently driving a BMW while the case remains pending. He sees me laughs & indirectly suggests that nothing will happen. Where are we living? Is this the justice system we want? Because of the failure of the justice system people like him continue to cheat and roam freely. I am not the only one he has cheated he has taken money from at least ten other people but they could not approach the court due to lack of financial resources. @MLJ_GoI @PIB_India @mieknathshinde @Dev_Fadnavis @arjunrammeghwal @LiveLawIndia

A 1 crore earning techie's life has no value in Bengaluru. And if you're not earning that much? Your life has even less. My sister and her friend were driving home in my car. They stopped at a red light - the logical thing anyone does. A drunk driver in a mini-truck didn't feel the need to stop. He slammed into them instead. I know he was drunk. She knows it. The highway police knows it. The truck owner knows it. No arrest was made. The truck driver never showed up at the station. The owner never showed up. Nobody cared. My sister and her friend - both injured, both terrified - kept going back to the station, back to the accident site, explaining what happened over and over, just trying to get a report filed. I was in the US. All I could do was talk to them on calls, helpless. Here's what the police told them: "If nobody died, an FIR doesn't make sense." "Just claim first party insurance." "Third party insurance doesn't pay much anyway." And then, quietly, one officer pulled them aside and told the truth: "These truck mafia bribe us. Nothing will happen." Nothing happened. The truck was KA04 AE6550. The police themselves said if they'd been on a two-wheeler, both would be dead. We had 100% insurance from Reliance. Claim rejected. Reason? "Misrepresentation of facts." These two, even while injured, kept showing up to represent the facts. Reliance still found a way to deny them. The law says if someone hits you from behind, the person behind is at fault. It was a red light. How does a truck driver not see that? Trust me, this isn't about money. I'll manage the repairs and the medical bills. I have savings. And I have a decent credit score; I'll take a personal loan if I have to. That's not the point. The point is this: my sister is afraid now. Afraid that anything can happen to her at any moment and there's no one - no system, no law, no institution - that will protect her. But how do I tell her the world is supposed to be fair? How do I tell her to trust the system? How do I explain that the drunk driver walks free, the truck owner was never questioned, and the police pocketed their bribe and closed the file? I can't say to any official, "What if this was your daughter? Your sister?" Because their daughters travel in cars with security escorts. They will never know what it feels like to be ordinary and unprotected. So I'm saying it to you, an ordinary reader. You're on the road. You stop at a red light. A drunk driver in a truck rear-ends your car. Your loved one is inside, terrified. And then you learn: there is no recourse. None. The truck owner pays off the cops. The insurance company rejects your claim. The system shrugs. This is Bengaluru in 2025. This is India in 2025. This is what your life is worth here. One more thing. The friend in the car? He's one of the smartest people I know. close to top 100 rank in IIT-JEE. AI engineer and one of the biggest data companies. At 23, he is valuable to be paid more annually than the cost of five such trucks, that too, in India. He's patriotic. He pays his taxes. He stays in India even though he constantly gets offers to move to the US. This is the confidence our system gives to someone who is clearly an asset to this country. All this unfairness - for a drunk truck driver. @blrcitytraffic @BlrCityPolice - tell me. I've always avoided raising fingers publicly. But what else can I do?

Residents being asked to pay ₹20 lakh to reroute 33 KVA power cabling because @M3MIndiaPvtLtd @DHBVNL didn’t coordinate with @OfficialGMDA @MunCorpGurugram before laying cables and vice-versa before digging a drainage route. @Abanteindia @MWorthFMS Now power supply getting affected, residents forced to pay DG charges which are exorbitantly high just because of sheer organisational negligence and failure. EDC already paid. Planning already approved. Why should residents fund institutional negligence by Builder and Government Organisations. Most people in India don’t know this… but when you buy a new car in India the government actually owes you money back. Yes, a refund. And it’s already linked to your PAN. Whenever you buy a car above ₹10 lakh, the dealer collects 1% TCS. So a ₹10L car → ₹10,000 TCS A ₹30L SUV → ₹30,000 TCS This money is YOURS. You can claim it. How to get it back? 1️⃣ Ask your dealer for Form 27D right after purchase 2️⃣ Check your Form 26AS while filing ITR 3️⃣ Make sure the TCS is visible 4️⃣ Claim it as refund or adjust it against your tax That’s it. No trick. No hidden rule. Just a benefit almost nobody talks about. So if you’re buying a car 🚗 above ₹10 lakh please don’t leave your money behind. Take Form 27D… and take your refund too. 💰 Information like this saves people real money. Follow @AshishMeher7 for more such useful updates.

My father has been under arrest for 845 days. For the past six weeks, he has been kept in solitary confinement in a death cell with zero transparency. His sisters have been denied every visit, even with clear court orders allowing access. There have been no phone calls, no meetings and no proof of life. Me and my brother have had no contact with our father. This absolute blackout is not a security protocol. It is a deliberate attempt to hide his condition and prevent our family from knowing whether he is safe. Let it be clear: the Pakistani government and its handlers will be held fully accountable legally, morally and internationally for my father’s safety and for every consequence of this inhumane isolation. I call on the international community, global human rights organisations and every democratic voice to intervene urgently. Demand proof of life, enforce court ordered access, end this inhumane isolation and call for the release of Pakistan’s most popular political leader who is being held solely for political reasons.

I’m from the Northeast - so when I say this, I mean it with heart and history.
Prema Thongdok (originally from Rupa, West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh) was en route from London to Japan, transiting via Shanghai, when she was held 18 hours by Chinese authorities simply because her Indian passport listed Arunachal Pradesh as her birthplace.
They told her: “Arunachal Pradesh is part of China - your passport is invalid.” They even mocked her: “You should get a Chinese passport.”
Here’s the deal: •Arunachal Pradesh is undeniably Indian territory and Indian citizens born there have full right to Indian passports •And it undermines the very “normalcy” Beijing claims to want at LAC. •Chinese interference in civilian transit and identity is not diplomacy - it’s intimidation. •India lodged a strong demarche in Beijing & Delhi - reminding China that this detention was baseless and breached the Chicago Convention & Montreal Convention on civil aviation. When a citizen from our Northeast is singled out just for their birthplace - that’s not foreign policy. That’s erasure.
Northeast Indians are not bargaining chips, transit tokens or second-class travellers. We are India - in identity, in territory, in dignity.

Pakistan has been strategically inserted into the emerging regional alliance led by Russia, China, and Iran as a covert operative, essentially a spy, acting on behalf of a global superpower. This insertion is not to strengthen the alliance, but rather to infiltrate it and serve the intelligence and strategic interests of that superpower from within. At the same time, Pakistan is being deliberately used as a geopolitical instrument by the same superpower to politically and diplomatically isolate India in the region. The underlying reason is that India has refused to act as a subordinate or proxy of the global superpower in South Asia. Consequently, the superpower is now employing Pakistan as a tool to exert political and economic pressure on India, aiming to weaken its independent regional stance and strategic autonomy. The alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is also shaped and influenced by the strategic will and agenda of the global superpower. Pakistan’s inept political leadership, together with its deeply corrupt military establishment, has for decades served the interests of a global superpower in return for dollars, remaining one of its most loyal instruments. This reality has become increasingly evident to the world, particularly through the recent visits of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief so-called Field Marshal Asim Munir to the United States, which clearly revealed Pakistan’s continued alignment and dependency on the global superpower’s directives. Pakistan’s growing closeness with Arab countries in the Middle East is not a coincidence but a calculated move driven by the strategic objectives of the global superpower. The underlying purpose is to counter Iran’s regional influence and to reestablish Israel’s dominance in the Middle East. In this grand geopolitical design, Pakistan is being used as a hired military force by the superpower, employed to weaken Iran’s influence and to reinforce Israel’s position in the region. At present, Pakistan’s increasing alignment with Saudi Arabia is also part of this larger global game. Under this strategy, Pakistan’s military is being utilized, in exchange for dollars, to support policies that empower Israel and suppress the emerging alliance among Iran, Russia, and China, preventing their influence from expanding in the Middle East. When India refused to comply with the dictates of the global superpower and resisted becoming its regional proxy, Pakistan’s importance suddenly rose in the eyes of that power, as it has historically served as a mercenary state, willing to act on behalf of foreign interests for financial gain. The world is well aware that Pakistan’s politics, religion, and so-called ideology, principles have long been instruments traded for dollars. This pattern continues today. Hence, Pakistan’s role in the current regional alignment involving Russia, China, Iran, and Afghanistan is not that of a respected or trustworthy partner, but rather that of a spy, serving the interests of the global superpower from within. Pakistan’s role and standing have always been that of a hired broker serving global powers for a price. Even today, it continues its traditional role of acting as an international agent-for-hire, remaining consistent with its long history of political servitude and transactional loyalty. 🚨 Purchased 2 cars with Credit Cards 🚘 ♥️Planned using Axis Atlas to save around 17200 Edge miles and ₹62000 in Accor points value. (Swipe charges deducted) ✅Father bought a new card for 6.3L. (After the exchange offer) 🚨I couriered my Axis Atlas card to him. ✅ Domestic tx disabled of course. Used the firsttap debit card case. ✅The dealer quoted 2.1% for swiping charges. Tried to negotiate but they didn't agree being the only showroom. ✅Did a test swipe for ₹11000. Received points in 2 days. ✅Did final transction for ₹270896 including the 2.1% charges. Received 5416 Edge miles. ✅Completed 3L milestone as well. That's 2500 Edge Miles. That's over and above the 2500 Edge miles for renewal. ✅ So just saved ₹16460 approx with the transction plus 10000 on the 3L milestone plus 10000 on renewal. That's ₹36000 approx. ✅ That's not all. My in-laws are also getting a new vehicle and they agreed to pay 2L with my card as well. 🔥 That's 4000 edge miles and ₹16000 in accor points value. However it will put the card near the 7.5L milestone as well. Looks like we can hit the platinum tier this year finally as my annual spends are generally 10L with this card. Let me know if you have any doubts. ♥️ ➡️ 🔁 ➡️ 🔖These post take a lot of research and hard work.
