This weekend, there will be a 10pm-5am curfew for young people (17 and younger) in the Downtown and Downtown West neighborhoods. This is precautionary to ensure St. Louisans stay safe. Parents will be held responsible for the behavior of their children. #STL
LINK & VIDEO: “Nothing good happens after midnight”, yet the only two aldermen governing downtown St. Louis insist it should be a place for late night “entertainment”. While we agree Downtown should welcome more concerts and sporting events, we do not agree that means we should invite more cruising and folks that aren’t coming Downtown for dinner and an event. The late night economy that attracts people drinking in their cars and on sidewalks, instead of inside licensed restaurants, sometimes results in violence. This is Grace Maxwell. Left in 2008, when we told the FAA “the equipage of aircraft with ADS-B In capability will provide an immediate and substantial contribution to safety, especially during operations in and around airports." Right: Grace at the university she was flying back to when she died onboard Flight 5342 on January 29, 2025. I have said many times that our investigation is just the first step. If our recommendations — ALL of our recommendations — are not fully implemented or they are watered-down to the point where they are no longer our recommendations, more lives will be lost. Grace’s death was preventable! She should be with her family today.

Players who play in St. Louis always seem to fall in love with St. Louis. Or, the St. Louis suburbs, I suppose. I won't say it's inexplicable, because that's mean and @jprutherford would be mad at me, but it's at least uncanny.
