@garyblack00 @TroyTeslike Interesting, appreciate sharing it, thx. I guess at the end of Q2 we should have a fairly good idea what to expect from 2026 deliveries.

@b4umg4rb Wrong. $TSLA has shown two consecutive years of volume declines while the EV industry as a whole has grown +20-25% per year. Highly credible forecasters like @troyteslike are looking for a third consecutive year of TSLA volume declines in 2026.

The idea that $TSLA and $SPCX should merge after the SPCX IPO makes no compelling business logic and should be viewed as a very low probability event. Neither investor side would want the dilution associated with their respective market cap increasing by 50%+ (assuming a merger of equals, about which I have my doubts) and other than Elon controlling both companies, I don’t see obvious synergies by bringing together a space exploration/satellite company with a slow growth EV company, even one that is increasingly dependent on AI (true of all companies). In mergers, the lowest common multiple normally prevails post merger and with SPCX at a 300x EV/EBITDA multiple and TSLA at a 100x EV/EBITDA multiple, why would investors in a high-flying SPCX IPO want to dilute their 300x multiple to merge it with an EV company with declining volumes? While brokers hoping to get a favorable allocation of $SPCX IPO shares will continue to tout the benefits of a possible merger, I don’t see it happening anytime soon due to excessive dilution.

Thanks to tariffs I may add. Tariffs, both in the U.S. and Europe, turned out to be a great gift to Tesla/Elon and is why you won’t hear any criticism from him about tariffs (contrary to before). Others in China have long caught up. I recommend visiting and trying out some of the top competitors’ products.

After just 11 months, @jasonfenske13 dumps his @LucidMotors that he bought to avoid supporting @elonmusk and @tesla. The truth is, all non-Tesla EVs in our market are essentially prototypes. Why not buy the safest, most American made brand on the market!

@DillonLoomis Well it depends on how you look at it, doesn’t it? 890mio can be viewed as a substantial amount of money in absolute numbers that you can “shift around” between your companies. In light of Tesla’s revenue or generally the MAG7 and the likes it’s not, though 🤷‍♂️

You are cute Ganesh. It's Jensen Freaking Huang. The founder/maker of the most valuable company ever created. Who wouldn't shut up if he starts talking? You'd have to be an utter * not to. Are we really doing this? Are we really starting to praise every influencer under the sun for the most basic of conversational skills? Did we really drop this low? Just set the bar low enough and everything looks great. That Ganesh, that is a loser mindset.

I found Dwarkesh’s line of questioning around Chips<>Uranium a bit crazy but his raw interviewing mechanics is absolutely insane. Even in heated discussion, he didn’t talk over his Jensen even once and stops the exact second he start speaking. The level of intense focus this requires, especially when navigating tough pushback from someone like Jensen Huang is next level.

Here is another datapoint for those who say the Cybercabs with steering wheels are meant to be used with passengers. I was fortunate to capture this image today with the door open of one of the new vehicles in the outbound lot. I cropped in and adjusted the lighting to show that the engineering kit to add the steering wheel and pedals requires portions of the dashboard to be removed in order for this kit to be added. There is not a completed dashboard or interior pieces to make this into a completed, production ready vehicle. It was never intended to be ... these are meant for testing only and this version is not the final production version that will carry passengers. Really! For a bit more added context, there are two "lines" to make different versions of the Cybercab. There is the main production line for final versions that will be used for passengers and these vehicles are noticeably different from those used for the engineering test versions. Once these are observed, it will be obvious ... There is a parallel line that is meant only to make these engineering versions with a modular kit that includes the Cybertruck steering wheel, accelerator and brake pedals. This kit is bolted in after removing a part of the dashboard. These vehicles are wrapped with a golden color on top on non molded-in-color body panels. There is a need for the engineering versions for some time to come as new locations are added to the areas where Robotaxi service will be deployed and this will be true for quite some time.

You know how most startups go bankrupt because their founder makes some fatal mistake? Tesla would have been another one of those failed companies if Elon (himself legally a founder of Tesla) hadn’t fired Martin Eberhard (another founder) as CEO for lying to him— and ordering other employees to lie to him— about how much the car cost to manufacture. If Martin had remained CEO, Tesla would have burned through all of its cash and gone bankrupt in 2008. Tesla only survived because Elon became CEO, cut costs, and sold all of his remaining personal assets to save it. He had to borrow money from friends to pay his rent.

Jahr in Folge). Trotzdem: Werk macht Gewinn, keine Massenentlassungen, Produktion soll 2026 wieder steigen (laut Werkleiter Thierig Ende 2025). Expansion auf 1 Mio. liegt erstmal auf Eis. Kein Weltuntergang, aber definitiv herausfordernde Phase.

I know this is pretty well established at this point, but Codex 5.3 is a much more effective model than Opus 4.6. I went back and forth on both for a bit, but haven’t touched Opus at all now for a full week. First model to get me off of Opus… ever. Good job Codex team.

If you’re right in the end I will have the highest respect for you for standing up for your opinion while many of us believed what Tesla put out there. I will then have to admit I was the idiot believing those lies. BUT if Tesla achieves what I for one believe they will, then you lost all credibility for going against Tesla so publicly and actively and for being so wrong about it. Then you’re the one who mislead many people.
