They needed a phone translator to speak to and begged our driver not to call Highway Patrol. Ohio State Patrol let the Werner Drivers Roll? FMCSA ordered English proficiency enforcement (49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)) — but where’s the accountability? Almost 1/3 of our nation’s freight is hauled by non-citizen drivers. That’s not just a safety issue — it’s a national security risk. Even stranger two states issuing non-domical REAL IDS!!! WOW, @USPS is doing everything they can to keep non-domicile drivers hauling mail They have given this handout to employees telling them NOT to check licenses when drivers comes in with a badge It was all a sham to get the heat off. They are giving them badges to haul your mail

@robcarpenter I believe a pizza delivery driver should have formal training and hold a credential. I also believe everyone who decides to trade in their Honda civic for a mobile home should also have to hold a license.

The Passenger transportation world can be wack! Lower pay. Bad customers. One of the biggest issues in passenger transport is non-CDL CMV transport, where many CDL drivers who can't get employment as a screened CDL equipment operator anymore go to find work, i.e., those who are prohibited in the Clearinghouse. @FreightAlley Please ask them why they cut rates on recovering lanes in 2025 to the tune of $300.00 a load below our rate which was bottom of contract market at the time.

Knight Swift is projecting double digit contract rate increases by the end of the year, a more bullish forecast than their Q1 report. Any thinking that the tightness was situational is gone, as UBS suggests that a trucking rate "Supercycle" could be upon us.

@robcarpenter Incredible how the data shows the most incidents happen between 18 & 22 hours away from major shipping areas.

I put out the Carrier violation/crash map today. Some of these carriers out here spend more time on the side of the road than they do on it. A lot of it is a result of the person they pick to put in the seat. This will eventually turn into a lane-mapping piece on where carriers spend most of their time along with other features.

When I found the @OhioTurnpike list this morning, I didn't know the assignment was really the assignment. How exciting! "We want to say to the shippers and freight movers [brokers] that are using these companies... HEY, take a look here. If your company is cheating the system, you might want to think twice about using that trucking company." Chat, are you listening???? The companies on this list should be out of business if they aren't already. And the new companies they've spun up should be out of business as well! STOP GIVING THEM FREIGHT.
