As a student, I’ve often found cold emailing recruiters to be time-consuming and discouraging, making it difficult to connect with the right opportunities. @hrishabhayush, @rachelt313, @dhruvprata4970, and I came together to tackle this challenge, aiming to create a solution that makes outreach more effective. Over five consecutive nights for the MBC hackathon, our team worked tirelessly to turn this vision into reality, and I’m so proud to share that our project SolMail @solmail_xyz won 1st place on the Solana track! SolMail harnesses escrow smart contracts for transactions and SendAI agents for email scoring. It’s simple: You attach a @solana micropayment to your email, which is released to the recipient only if they send a good response. SolMail thus transforms your message from one of hundreds of unread entries into one with a clear value proposition. I focused on developing the SendAI Agent, leveraging Solana Agent Kit with an OpenAI-based LLM that evaluates recipient responses and mediates the release of micropayments, while enhancing @mail0dotcom’s email client to manage workflows between scoring and Solana smart contract calls. Our work on SolMail is far from over, and I’m excited to continue integrating x402’s payment middleware to intercept OpenAI API calls and enable a pay-per-use pipeline. Huge thank you to @Evanzsolomon @reva_jariwala @EzvenG @redempshawne @college_xyz @MBC_Conference @CUBlockchain for this wonderful opportunity, and immensely grateful to @adlonymous @b_migliaccio @SolanaFndn who helped us improve SolMail. And of course, to my amazing teammates, 2am dinner runs and 7h grind sessions wouldn’t have been as fun if not for you guys. You all are the best! github.com/hrishabhayush/…

2 weeks ago, @rachelt313, @weitaos1, @bbriaaaans, @Ypujdq1, and I spent an incredible weekend at the @unlink_xyz x @monad hackathon building Optimo, a privacy-first crypto payments platform designed to make on-chain transactions feel as seamless and intuitive as Web2. By leveraging @unlink_xyz, we shield transaction routing to keep sensitive payment data off the public blockchain. We also integrated an OpenClaw bot, allowing users to execute transfers via simple natural language prompts, turning complex transactions into a conversation. My focus was on the architectural flow between wallets: - Pre-funded Vaults: Worked on a vault model to eliminate "signature fatigue." Users sign one initial transaction to deposit funds into a smart contract, which then handles subsequent releases w/o requiring constant wallet pop-ups. - Gas Abstraction: Users only need to hold USDC while Optimo handles the $MON gas fees behind the scenes. - Secure Routing: An encryption layer on our database, allowing us to securely store transaction records without risk of leakage. Huge thanks to @unlink_xyz and @monad for the learning opportunity (and the amazing snacks), and to my teammates for the grind and relentless energy! 🚀

Had a great time at @monad for the @unlink_xyz hackathon two weeks ago! My team @caedy_13, @bbriaaaans, @Ypujdq1, @weitaos1, and I built Optimo, an application on Monad using Unlink allowing users to easily make private transactions with friends via OpenClaw. Got almost no sleep and lived off Monad’s snack pantry but was an amazing experience 😄

Welcome back to Washington D.C. @caedy_13 !! Founder, Solana Hackathon Winner! Last month @CUBlockchain won 1st place in the Solana track at @MBC_Conference with SolMail. @solmail_xyz harnesses escrow smart contracts for transactions and SendAI agents for email scoring. It’s simple: You attach a @solana micropayment to your email, which is released to the recipient only if they send a good response. It was great to again talk about the Web3 ecosystem and to discuss how sound crypt policy is important for builders in the USA. We talked about -StableCoins -Agentic payments -Gaming -Policy -DePin And the many opportunities for growth that are inevitable. Followed up with a quick stop at @Sen_Alsobrooks in request for support for the GENIUS Act as it was passed, protect consumers rewards, and advance a clear regulatory framework for digital assets Looking forward to see you more often in the district! @Web3DC @Web3Maryland Cc: @college_xyz @standwithcrypto

Today we hosted Cornell University student and Blockchain Club member @caedy_13 in the office! Last month, @CUBlockchain took 1st place in the Solana track at @MBC_Conference with SolMail. @solmail_xyz uses escrow smart contracts and SendAI agents to score emails. Simple idea: attach a @solana micropayment to your email—funds are released only if the recipient sends a quality response. Thanks, Caedy, for the great questions and insights. From agentic AI payments to DePIN, there’s much more to explore. The next generation of blockchain builders is here. 🚀

We all have been thinking about how we get more response rate on our cold emails and started asking: Why do thoughtful emails still go unanswered? The people we reach out to, their inboxes are overloaded and they have no incentive to prioritize our email. So, we started building SolMail at the student hackathon @MBC_Conference that helps senders stand out by attaching a Solana micropayment as an incentive for receivers to respond. Recipients receive the payment for quality replies. It doesn’t change how you write emails, but it completely changes how they’re perceived: Yours becomes a message with a clear value and distinction. This is why we call it the incentivized inbox for richer replies and your tool for first successful conversations and leads. Under the hood, SolMail leverages Solana escrow smart contracts using Anchor framework, wallets for payment, Zero-client for fetching emails, and SendAI-powered AI agent that evaluates responses and automatically triggers settlement of the contract. Our GTM strategy will be focused on successful conversions and leads in sales and people looking for quality connections and meaningful first conversations where both parties have some skin in the game. Our code is open-sourced and our repo (github.com/hrishabhayush/…) is with a short demo (youtube.com/watch?v=W48W4-…). Our team @hrishabhayush @caedy_13 @rachelt313 @dhruvprata4970 is excited to continue building this out and onboarding users.

Last week, I entered my first ever hackathon–the 2025 Midwest Blockchain Conference Hackathon at UMich–with my team @caedy_13, @hrishabhayush, and @Dhruvprata4970. After multiple sleepless nights and midnight crashout sessions, I’m thrilled to share that our project SolMail @solmail_xyz won 1st Place on the Solana track! We were inspired by our own experiences being ghosted by recruiters or people we hoped to coffee chat with. Inboxes are flooded by hundreds of similar messages, leaving recipients little reason to prioritize any single email. SolMail tackles this by letting senders attach Solana micropayments to their outreach. Your message stands out with clear value, and you only pay if the reply meets quality standards. SolMail leverages Solana escrow smart contracts with Anchor, @mail0dotcom email client framework, and a SendAI agent that evaluates replies and triggers settlement of the contract automatically. On the frontend, I gained hands-on experience working with React, TypeScript, and Zero's framework to build an intuitive interface for composing messages, attaching payments, and connecting wallets (Phantom, Torus, SolFlare), integrated with the Gmail Client API. Thank you @MBC_Conference, @Evanzsolomon, @reva_jariwala, @redempshawne, and @EzvenG for an incredible two days; @SolanaFndn, @adlonymous, and @b_migliaccio for helping us debug; @CUBlockchain for making this trip so much fun; to Hrishabh for the mentorship and patience; and to Caedy and Dhruv for being incredible teammates. Excited to keep building :) Check out the GitHub repo github.com/hrishabhayush/… #blockchain #hackathon #solana #midwestblockchainconference #Web3

For months I tried cold emailing recruiters, engineers, founders, hoping to get feedback or a quick chat. But most emails were ignored. Turns out their inboxes are flooded with 200+ similar requests. Even if you’re not asking for much, you’re still asking for time. So how do you incentive these people for their reply? At the MBC hackathon I built out @solmail_xyz with @caedy_13 @rachelt313 @dhruvprata4970 to solve this exact problem. SolMail lets senders stand out by attaching a @solana micropayment. Recipients receive the payment for quality replies and the sender only pays for successful leads/email replies. It doesn’t change how you write emails, but it completely changes how they’re perceived as your message now has clear value and distinction. Even with finals next week, I locked in so hard on this project and we got 1st in Solana Track!! I enjoyed building on top of @mail0dotcom email client and using Solana PDAs (still learning) to write the Solana escrow contract for the program with X-Payment headers for transactions on each email sent. Personally, I am interested in continuing to understand what user behavior people would want this payment-gated product and would like to thank @adlonymous, @b_migliaccio, @SolanaFndn for helping us fix technical problems and advising in terms of GTM. Will continue to build it out more and integrate further stack of @Arcium & SendAI. Finally, I had an awesome time at MBC. Huge thanks to @Evanzsolomon, @reva_jariwala, @EzvenG, @redempshawne, @college_xyz, and @MBC_Conference for putting together such an energizing weekend. Staying with the @CUBlockchain crew in our Airbnb made it even better, and the dinner hosted by @Ledger and @AntoineM_eth was a highlight. I really enjoyed meeting people I’ve known and worked with before. github.com/hrishabhayush/…
