So it's going to take time to bring global emissions to zero, for societal reasons. But the primary impediment is *not* the (literal or figurative) inertia of the physical climate system--it's politics.

Whether we will, collectively, choose to stop it over next 30 years is a different question--but it is neither a physical nor societal impossibility.

In a city filled with 80/20 thinking and maximizing effective use of time, librarians are the ones who will go the extra mile for *every* person. They have saved SF during COVID by working the food bank, hotels and as contact tracers. So lucky to be able to support them

@nonmayorpete @thelindazhang I think spikes are celebrated, but having general well rounded strengths behind a spike makes you pretty powerful. I have seen very spiky people not go as high as they could because their troughs were so intensely obvious

Being “well-rounded” is overrated. While it’s good to not have fatal flaws, it’s essential to have at least 1-2 strengths that set you apart. Strengths help you hit home runs. They define you. Even better when they are paradoxical - rarely found in the same person
