On December 4, 2024, I called @ATT about something I didn’t understand on my bill. After it was quickly and successfully resolved the agent wanted to sell me internet. They promised a lot of things, and NONE have happened. Customer since 2009 & @Verizon looking good.

What a spectacular failure by @MoDOT_StLouis. On top of that they just disappear of social media and are not giving any updates on why some major roads are untouched and when they will be. KC and other districts seem to have figured it out. @MoDOT

@SeanCasten The problem is not democrat or republican. The problem is the system that we have in place with all the lobbyist and special interest groups that are affecting the bills. It falls on both parties to clean up their act. @elonmusk is just shining the light on the problem

Brief thread on how we got here: Since the GOP won control of the House 2 years ago they have not passed a single appropriations package into law. Government has operated at funding levels set by Dems 2 years ago via continuing resolutions every few months. This is not normal.

@Beganovic2024 All of these fancy cocktails sound good, but from experience, they don't hit much harder than the cheaper basics. Give me $4 gin and tonics all night.

Here's the big three things Democrats need to follow to fix the problems in their cities: 1. Police fairly but consistently. You don't have to jail people for minor offenses, but stop and ticket them. Don't let quality of life crimes go unpunished.

@briscoe_les @Beganovic2024 I’m no fan of Gardner, but this entire post is pure speculation. There could be any number of reasons that the cops don’t complain or why she left the field, and they’d all be just as speculative if I suggested them.

@Beganovic2024 Very likely serious charges such as manslaughter or the highest degree assault. You simply don't hear the cops complain about him like they did with Gardner. If she was a decent lawyer at all, she wouldn't have quit to become a hospital administrator.

Its Official! Today my son Cy joined me as I swore the oath and officially filed to be on the ballot to serve as our City’s next Mayor. Over the past few months, a team of over 50 volunteers collected 1,945 signatures from voters looking for change. I’m so grateful for your support.   Early voting starts just 85 days from today!

@AlanMCole The other group are people who buy $75,000 trucks and sit in the Starbucks drive thru every day waiting to pay $10 for “coffee.”

My non-online wife just remarked unprompted “seems like a lot of young people DoorDash restaurant meals for $60 and then complain about inflation.” I nearly jumped out of my chair. One of Econ Twitter‘s most annoying discourses breaking containment into real life.

@HealthToFit is there a way to contact you for support other than using the “contact us” email in the app? Those emails do not get sent when I use that which is why you never answer them :)

Why do you they are making the weather so bad on Election Day?! Do your research. They don’t want you to vote.

@0xIHodl @shauncooley @kwharrison13 Discord is horrible for any kind of interaction other than immediate. Its threading is confusing to say the least. I use both daily for different things, and in one case it was a direct move from a slack workspace to discord and the discord experience is notably worse.

@shauncooley @kwharrison13 You are correct that teams beat slack for almost everything (let's start with the fact it can order recent chats at the top), but both get absolutely steamrolled by discord . It's funny how a "gaming" chat has more integrations, better calls and more control than business apps XD
