Jake Tapper just said that the Trump Admin is trying to censor Jimmy Kimmel over a joke and that it is wrong to do so.
Tapper: "Jokes are not calls for violence. Calls for violence are calls for violence."
Here's Tapper in 2024 outraged because Aaron Rodgers made a joke on a sports show about Jimmy Kimmel being on the Epstein list.
Tapper called it wildly irresponsible and dangerous and said that ESPN should not allow Rodgers on air anymore.
One little joke about Jimmy Kimmel being on the Epstein list and Tapper wanted Rodgers banned from TV.
BTW, if that one line from Rodgers in 2024 was so dangerous, Tapper must have definitely spoken out against all the Democrats like Ted Lieu who have called Trump a child r*pist right? Of course not.
CNN had dozens if not hundreds of people on over the past year who made unfounded accusations of Trump being a pedophile. That's exactly why CNN had those people on, to smear Trump.

As you go to work today and settle into the week, please study the form below. You will soon need to fill this out EVERY year and tell the government what you own and then allow them to tell you how much its worth.
That is the framework that is enabled by the Trojan Horse "Billionaire Tax" that is trying to get passed.
Give them credit: they cleverly use Billionaires as the hook, but build in the language and the framework that will allow the Legislature to simply extend the tax to everyone and make it yearly.
And this is where the form below comes in...
In this case, ask yourself, will it be you or the Billionaires that will be able to fill this out properly and avoid penalties.
As much as Billionaires can be pushed to do more for society, we all know that they have the infrastructure to manage these kinds of disclosures...middle class Californians do not and they will be the ones that get penalized in the end.

Ken Cuccinelli just posted that the Virginia Supreme Court has declined to lift the injunction on certification of last week's Gerrymandering referendum. x.com/KenCuccinelli/… As he notes, that is not a ruling on the merits, as we await the court's decision. In order to uphold the new map, the Supreme Court will have to reject a myriad of flaws in the language and process behind the gerrymandering. @TylerEnglander Dunno if it is indicative of anything, but good. I'm against the gerrymander to begin with. But in any case if you are going to modify a state constitution you should at least need to jump carefully through the proscribed hoops to do so.

New: The Supreme Court of Virginia has denied a request for an emergency stay of last week’s Tazewell ruling that said the State Board of Elections can’t certify the results of Virginia’s redistricting referendum.
This is just a ruling on the request for a stay and not on the merits of the appeal.
