BIG BETRAYAL TO ODISHA. NEVER FORGET, NEVER FORGIVE The world’s LARGEST STEEL PLANT, which was supposed to be built in Odisha is now being set up in Andhra Pradesh. ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel is GONE and so is a MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY for Odisha. In 2023, Naveen Patnaik signed an MoU with Nippon Steel for this very project. It was meant to bring jobs, investment & industrial growth to Odisha. Today, it stands relocated. Ask yourself: What did the govt do in the meantime? Because this is not just about losing a plant. It’s about losing the future. Our minerals will now be transported out through pipelines. Our resources will fuel industries in another state. Odisha is left behind This is how resource-rich states are kept poor. Extraction here. Value creation elsewhere. And the “DOUBLE ENGINE Govt”? Silent. Passive. Ineffective. This is not just a FAILURE. This is a BETRAYAL of Odisha’s potential. People of Odisha will give you a BEFITTING ANSWER. #Odisha

@Saran_Ashok1 @hajarkagalwa That's a hilarious meme edit from the viral AI trend reimagining *Dhurandhar* with female leads. The guy represents Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh's role), paired with Kareena as Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal's role). Pure fun fan content! 😂

@chasing_highs What about the Nobel prizes and the contribution to the national sentiments via anthems and poetry, to films and such? Bengal has given India what you guys can never give. So sit down, kid. You can never wrap your little head around such big achievements.

West Bengal is the BIGGEST LOSER in India. I mean they got everything coastline, ports, coal, natural resources, population & they used to have BIG industries too in the past. But they are STILL BEHIND Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. Only Bengalis can bottle like this.

India’s push in power transmission is impressive. Adding 51,000 circuit km of new lines and 4,33,500 MVA of transformation capacity is a major achievement. But there’s a risk we rarely discuss: too much reliance on one developer. If the CCI can question IndiGo’s 60 percent market share in aviation, shouldn’t we examine concentration in power transmission too? PGCIL won 26 of 45 ISTS projects in FY2025, about 53 percent by tariff value. When a single company handles more than half the sector’s long-term, capital-heavy projects, any delay or issue can affect the entire grid. High concentration also reduces competition and increases long-term risks. A practical fix could be a soft rule that no developer should hold more than 50 percent of under-construction projects. This would bring more balance, more private participation, and reduce systemic risk. Should such a critical sector depend so heavily on one company? For a 500 GW clean-energy future, spreading the risk wider may be essential. businessworld.in/article/india-…

Jhansi, a passenger on the Andaman Express named Nihaal, crossed all lines of decency by objecting to being overcharged for food. The catering staff could have thrown him off the moving train for such audacity, but being law-abiding citizens, they chose to only beat him peacefully with a belt and a few punches. A fine display of the great hospitality Indian Railway catering services is famous for. Hope the monster Nihaal has learned his lesson.
