Sacking up the logic people are leaving behind.

Women would rather have their husbands mentally wrecked than have sex with them

Justices frequently do announce proposed retirements with conditions. Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, for example, announced her retirement in 2005 on the condition that it would become effective upon the nomination and confirmation of her successor. I suspect that a justice could also condition the retirement on confirmation of a successor within a time certain…an “exploding offer” of sorts. Lots of great circuit court justices could gain every GOP vote though some judges surely would not. A compelling background and a record of excellent decisions should be sufficient even for Republicans angry with President Trump for whatever reason.

BREAKING: Senator Bill Cassidy has been defeated. More than five years after voting to convict President Trump in his impeachment trial, the Louisiana Republican senator has lost in his GOP primary. In a Truth Social post, Trump reacted, saying “his disloyalty to the man who got him elected is now a part of legend, and it’s nice to see that his political career is OVER!” Trump-backed Rep. Julia Letlow and Louisiana Treasurer John Fleming finished ahead of Cassidy, according to the AP, and will now face off in next month’s runoff.
