Destination precision is definitely my biggest reason for disengagements these days. Navigation preferences are the second most common. Nav need to take inputs from overriding blinkers or even offer up alternative routes along the way.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

Upcoming releases of FSD will remember your parking preferences, so that the car goes to the right location at your home, office, school drop off, etc. Destination parking is by far the biggest reason people now intervene with FSD. Critical safety interventions are extremely rare.

Very proud of @gg4175 for being featured in her company’s magazine. She has been an avid runner for a while now and is soon going for her seventh marathon in the next few weeks. Nice to see her passion get some well deserved recognition!

@onxlink FSD 12.6.4 pulled into my driveway for the first time a week ago (and has done it again, but not consistently). But only coming from one direction, not the other:) One step at a time:) @onxlink @DBurkland

For the first time ever, FSD almost turned into the driveway that leads to my carport. There’s been a change in navigation with this last update. It made its first attempt last night and missed 😂😁 I’ve always had to disengage at the Stop sign right before I turn onto the street.

Serious phantom brake on 14.3.3 today. Do you guys see a reason for braking that I don't? I disengaged out of frustration, worried it would happen again. I've built up some tolerance from what Chris put me through in the early days, but we aren't in beta anymore, and I expected more honestly. I have high hopes that Tesla AI will polish this up soon, but we aren't there yet.

@JeebsTX Same. I've been to 2 shareholder meetings as a +1 (kinda hard to bar me when I'm a shareholder, but they didn't invite me directly,) and have yet to be invited to a product event. Makes my job a lot more difficult than it should be.

@thejefflutz @JustinWolfers @mmcassella There are various chats on X related to Tesla. I have stopped listening to them unless I see that you are participating. You use your real experience as the lens. Objective, grounded. Just saying, with the most respect. @thejefflutz

@thejefflutz @JustinWolfers @mmcassella Thank you! Very informative. From 2017-24 the dashed line tends to be more or less half way between Dem And Rep so clear bias is hard to see for me. But in '25-26, it is clearly skewed to Dem. Long-term data seems to show less bias than you seem to imply.🤔 with respect.Thoughts

@dougjohnson1982 Yeah normally I do the same but these angled intersections make that a bit challenging. It's a horrible layout however one that I can't see being resolved anytime soon in St Paul. Agree with you on a slight delay sure beats risking a collision.

@TeslaBoomerMama True, don't know: initial reports say Fidelity and Schwab will require minimum account sizes but Robinhood says all accounts will be eligible. Further, Robinhood says all participants will have an equal chance. If true, radically different priorities.

🚀 SpaceX - 30% Retail I hear some wondering "what Elon does to loyal Tesla investors". The answer is much simpler than you think: the 30% retail allocation is a "never been seen before" event. Now the big question is whether the banks will make this happen. From Casual Finance, over on YT, who is anything but an Elon fan: youtu.be/-X6YzlY_8tM?si…

@mzjacobson Does SD still use coal or natural gas to generate some of its electricity demand? I am trying to reconcile your data with other data.

Crazy new Q1 U.S. data shows big jump in U.S. penetration of WindWaterSolar in 3 months From Q2-25 to Q1-26 SD met 126% of grid+BTM demand with WWS (v 124% in '25) MT met 112% (vs 102% in '25) WA met 88% (v 78% in '25) WY met 82% (v 77% in '25) .. TX met 37% (v 35.4% in '25) U.S. met 26.43% (v 25.7% in '25) Growth due to a combo of solar, hydro, wind U.S.-wide Q2-25 to Q1-26 10.71% wind 5.98% hydro 0.36% geo 7.08% utility PV 2.3% BTM PV web.stanford.edu/group/efmh/jac…

Great news! New Q1 U.S. data show that not only do higher penetrations of WindWaterSolar still correlate with lower residential retail electricity prices in the U.S., but that correlation has strengthened in just three months! What is more, of the 16 states that met 37% to 126% of their grid+BTM demand with WWS from Q2-25 to Q1-26, 14 had prices 1.5-5.5 cents/kWh BELOW the U.S. average! -->claims that increasing WWS increases prices are not true web.stanford.edu/group/efmh/jac…

Why the silence from POTUS supporters regarding a so-called immunity from IRS audit? This is corruption of the highest order.

This just really isn't a great argument. The general public are only just at the point now where they see EV's as a great purchase. Sure you pay a little more for the car, but it's worth it because you save on fuel and maintenance and people see that now. Saying to people "Ok great, now if you just gave up all those savings, you could have FSD." is not the play. I bought FSD outright in 2019 with the car. It was AU $7,800. That seemed to me like a hell of a lot, but being able to roll it into the car finance made it doable. Once the car is paid off, I can use it as much as I want for free. Having taken advantage of the free transfer once already, I'm now transferring it again to my Model YL. To me, it's felt like a good value purchase. Now if I was doing it all over again today with a $150/month subscription, I can't roll it into my finance and I'll never pay it off. It's just $150/month extra on top of all my other bills and expenses that I already struggle to pay. If I didn't already own FSD, I would not subscribe today. I simply wouldn't be able to justify it, or afford it. And with FSD out of the equation, there's other EVs that stack up well to Tesla for significantly lower prices. When I show people my car, tell them how much it cost and show them how it can drive itself, they're like "Oh! 😯". I then tell them that if you want FSD now you have to pay $150/month on top of the car purchase. Their reaction changes to "Oh... 😐" That pretty much sums up the point of this post. I'm not saying FSD should be free, but current prices do not attract buyers. The value proposition isn't there.

@thejefflutz @mhdksafa But he did play a role. And he asserted that fraud had been found. No argument with finding fraud but to make a blanket assertion, applied to thousands of contracts for which they had no chance of reviewing, is not truthful. (with deepest respect to @thejefflutz )

The richest man on Earth dismantled the organization that feeds the poorest children on earth. He also cancelled all of the global Ebola prevention programs. The UN has now declared Ebola outbreak a global health emergency. Elon Musk’s dismantling of USAID has already killed more children than in Gaza and Ukraine combined. He cut lifetimes for millions and the result is a silent massacres. Nor should we forget his complicity in the genocide in Gaza, as well as in the war in Ukraine and the Epstein case. I don’t understand how billionaires think. If I only had one billion dollars, I would rush to fix our world problem. Homeless, hungry, poverty, wars, climate change... etc. They can be heroes and not just billionaires. What a waste.
