@Paritolkks You should be grateful that driver are giving you option that they will come with an extra charge. If drivers of 3 are rejecting, then it must be far or isolated location. Imaging you being stuck at night and no one even accepting the ride. Atleast, they given option in India

Booked a Rapido. Driver called: “Bhaiya, extra dena hoga.” Booked an Uber: “Bhaiya, fare bahut kam hai.” Then why did you accept the ride? Booked an Ola: Driver confirmed, then cancelled after 5 minutes. The entire taxi aggregator system in India is a mess. There is not a single app that feels customer-centric. Half the cars are poorly maintained, drivers keep negotiating outside the app, and cancellations are normalised. Once someone travels to places like Dubai or parts of Southeast Asia, they realise how far behind our basic service standards are.

Booked an @AkasaAir ticket via @agoda and accidentally selected Navi Mumbai instead of Mumbai. Tried cancelling via Agoda - they showed a cancellation fee of ₹4,764 and refund of just ₹1,571. Then I checked directly with Akasa Air. Akasa Air’s own cancellation page shows: • Total deduction: ₹299 • Refund amount: ₹6,076 Akasa customer care also confirmed the airline cancellation charge is only ₹299, and since the booking was made through Agoda, the refund would go back to Agoda. So the obvious question: If the airline is deducting only ₹299, why is Agoda charging me ₹4,764? That’s an extra ₹4,465 for what exactly? Charging 15x the airline’s actual cancellation fee for the same ticket feels completely unethical. @agodaindia please explain this loot. @AkasaAir passengers deserve transparency from booking partners. @jagograhakjago @MoCA_GoI

India needs some good rental cars In our recent trip to United Kingdom, we took a Alfa Romeo for the drive It costed Rs.14000 / 2 days Car in excellent condition, solid build and very clean. I remember the days when I took a car or 2 from Zoom car and the cars were in very bad condition in India - even after paying Rs.5000-6000/day, you get a old, fully wear and tear car. Infact the XUV 500 we took stopped midway from Panchagani to Pune and the Zoom car tried to charge us for the clutch pad issue

I have a confession to make: I am addicted to booking flights and hotels. The high I get after securing preferred flights, seats and itinerary as per my requirement is unbelievable. I have a friend's wedding to attend in February 2027 in Delhi. She hasn't designed the invite, or shared any more information yet but I am already blocking my AI Biz tickets to and fro since I just learnt of the dates. For context, the groom himself has not booked his tickets to Delhi for his wedding dates.
