When I'd read @drjudymelinek's Working Stiff during my undergrad, I was fascinated by her work but couldn't appreciate the human aspects of her occupation. I re-read the book this weekend. Having observed the covid carnage up close while adjusting to a new phase of life...(1/n)

As me and many of us at @dh_dharti and @dh_iitj argue: DH exists (and in fact thrives) for folx who don't even know that they have to belong in/to tents. :)
