The result of the Central Government's #NationalEducationPolicy is that CBSE has removed Punjabi as a regional language from the list of languages for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. This is a major attack on Punjab and our mother tongue. Against the RSS mentality that aims to weaken the rights of states and their education systems, I had raised a motion in the Punjab Legislative Assembly to reject this policy. Unfortunately, the @BhagwantMann government remained silent on this issue in the Assembly. It is clear that both @BJP4India and @AamAadmiParty are together attacking Punjab in this manner. It’s not about Sikhs or Hindus . This is a very big issue with Himachal people. They act as goons and form a mob asap when any conflict occurs with tourists . This practice is very bad and will lead to loss of tourist and revenue to them. I’m scared if they get treated same way in Punjab.

Navdeep Singh, a tourist from Punjab’s Phagwara, was beaten to death by a mob over a “sitting arrangement” dispute at a dhaba in Bhagsunag near Dharamshala. A group of four friends from Phagwara were having lunch at the dhaba when an argument ensued between them and the dhaba owner. A police officer said the tourists were attacked by the dhaba owner, his workers, and a few local men, and were badly beaten up. According to eyewitnesses, the mob also included a few local taxi drivers. “Navdeep fell to the ground and lost consciousness.”
