Today our team received a very upsetting call from a school in #Padgate where they had discovered a mum cat and 4 newborn kittens locked in a plastic box. What is really distressing, is that the box was hidden from view, not destined to be found. We believe the kittens to be 2 days old and it seems poor mum cat had to give birth in the box, trying to tend to her newborn kittens whilst locked in a confined space, with no water and a few scraps of dry biscuits to sustain her. Thank goodness they were found and brought to us straightaway! Mum is understandably bewildered, and will be going into a foster home with her kittens tomorrow, where they will hopefully recover from their ordeal. Whilst we can appreciate times are hard and people are struggling, doing this to a cat you have chosen not to neuter, is not OK! Please..before it gets to this stage, pick up the phone and ask for help. Warrington Animal Welfare . Sexed language isn’t quietly being dropped from information about prostate cancer or testicular screenings in the name of “inclusion.” Healthcare providers are, rightly, prioritising clear, sex-based language to ensure vital health messages reach the men who need them. So why does that clarity suddenly become controversial when the patients are women?
