@ACLakeMD Perhaps the "trick" lies in NOT "writing the paper." I.e., OVERdiscipline kills. 1] Engage in spontaneous "data dump" whenever time permits; 2] Consolidate data according to similarities; 3] Organize a "flow;" 4] Fill in the gaps. This might seem oversimplified; but, it works.

Serious question: how do researchers get papers written? Admin/research time blocked? Med students/residents? Professional/hired writers? Nights/weekends? I find writing manuscripts and revisions to be black holes of time and can’t get things published very efficiently.

This is IMPORTANT. Why? Because PROP relies on DSM5 as the basis for marketing their theories about opioid addiction despite the lack of evidence. Even NIH refuses to allow DSM5 to serve as the basis for funded research. Over medicalization may kill you.
