Price on my X Plaid was $147K and now the same car new is $115K. That’s what infuriates me. The minimum you can do to these customers is give them free Self Driving and maybe some free credits on supercharging. No other automaker would raise the price then lower it like that to kill its customers resale value.

Please reply to this post with any difficulties you may have had in trying to buy a Tesla. Our goal is for the purchase and delivery experience to be fast and simple, with accurate answers to your questions. The key test is that you would recommend it to a friend.

@OnDisasters Not to devalue what he's doing there, but stabilization seems like an AI task. Why is this still done manually in aircraft? Boats have had automatic stabilization forever because it's an easier problem to solve, but this is certainly solvable. Hey, @elonmusk! Fix it!

See? This is why pilots don´t need to do Cardio at the gym: they do it in their work. This was in 2017: pilot Artur Kielak - also an aerobatic pilot in his spare time - filmed himself landing a B-737

@hypersane24 @Rainmaker1973 Even pulling like that wouldn't have done much. Just look at how the base slips out - there was huge mass leaning toward the house

@ashleysbored The square cube law also applies. Volume (mass) increases ^3 in relation to size increases. So as a very rough guide a person double the height of another is 8x the mass.

Can someone please explain why $TSLA trades at Price/Earnings ratio of 100+ when other automotive companies trade at PE under 10? With imploding sales growth is clearly not a reason.

@TheQuartering A couple of "life hacks" here, China drops tariffs on our stuff then we drop ours or Apple could make their products right here in the US, save on tariffs and lower carbon footprint from having to ship across the world.

@jakubvlasek @gak_pdx Problem is that 1 small targeted bomb could take out the whole line. When producing a manufacturing process for critical munitions sometimes it makes more sense to have it "low tech" in an effort to make it more resilient to disruption.

@itsbritneyloh @PinkPsychonaut Yeah because boomers were taught that being a walking red fat blister was healthy and now are suffering those consequences. Younger people are a bit more sun safe.

I don't fully trust any sunscreen that isn't Australian. I'm so sorry. Like the Korean babes have cute nice sunscreens, but I'll stick with the country/continent that consistently communicates with the devil and calls it the sun.

@torradateoric @MattLech I know right? I'm a dumb guy, but why do 0% of Christians follow the bible 100%? Like, what is the magic juju that lets them just pick and choose bible teaching to follow, and still think the bible is an instruction manual for morals? Shouldn't it be all or nothing for them?

@MattLech It always astounds me how religious people genuinely believe “you can’t tell right from wrong because you don’t have a sky daddy to tell you what’s right and what’s wrong” is a sound argument

@joebarnard Yes, completely normal, it's called corona discharge. The high voltage creates an electric field around the wire that ionises the air molecules around it. The resulting expanding and contracting of the air causes the sound.

@KingmanGFX @davepl1968 It will just make your cars more expensive, and hence even less competitive on a global market.
