Last night was a sizeable stress test. Flare, the FAssets and Flare’s data protocols performed well and as expected.

We’ve seen reports from some users about pending FAsset mints and XRP appearing “stuck.” Here’s what’s happening 👇 Minting FAssets is a multistep process: 1️⃣ Reserve collateral on Flare 2️⃣ Transfer XRP on the XRPL to the selected Agent 3️⃣ Use the Flare Data Connector (FDC) to prove the XRPL transfer on Flare 4️⃣ Use that proof on the AssetManager contract to finalize the mint To simplify this, most users rely on executors — background services that handle steps 3 and 4 automatically. Recently, some of these executors ran into a performance issue, which caused a temporary pause in background processing for some minting transactions. 💡 No funds are lost. All XRP transfers on XRPL are fully recorded and safe — they simply haven’t yet been finalized on the AssetManager contract. 🟢 In short minting is just slow but will happen. The FAssets system is designed for resilience: Anyone can submit the proof for step 3. There’s a 14-day window to confirm the minting. A dedicated service is now working through and finalizing all pending transactions. We’re actively cleaning up the backlog and improving executor performance to prevent this from happening again.
