Nearby payments. Rolling out a pilot this week. No QR codes. Just Bluetooth. Great for getting paid by strangers. Or sorting a round at the bar. Well done @DamjanStankovic and team on this beauty.

@raunofreiberg @algirdaas true those patterns exist, but stagger animations have been around forever and last visitor is pretty common. the callout was really about the music widgets being copied pixel-for-pixel and its harf to believe as a coincidence

@zoink @flippnflops An auto-updating DESIGN.md for any Figma file (referencing linked libraries) would be magical ✨🙏

Just tried Claude Design. Burned through my Pro weekly limit in one session, but boy was I happy. I don’t think Figma is going to be replaced by this anytime soon. It still works best if you give it hand-designed layouts, color choices, type choices, etc). That said, the experience is miles ahead of Figma Make. Only because it makes a serious effort of structuring your design system and it makes creating one from existing artifacts super duper easy (GitHub repo, Figma files, brand assets, copy samples). I’m an indie maker, and putting together a design system has always been a bit of a chore, but this has legitimately taken a lot of work of my plate. Now, if only Figma worked this way! Autogenerate or update a design system from the decisions I’ve made in my mockups and my repo. A boy can dream!

@benjitaylor Man, you’re the best in the game at write-ups. I’d really love for you to do an overview on how you make mini-tools for stuff like this. What seems like a throw-away tool for a specific need in your prototyping process that turns itself into something more useful than that.

So unbelievably Claude-pilled that even these demo videos I'm recording are made with a tool I created

Another little Liveline update: multi-series support. You can now have multiple overlapping lines in one chart with per-series toggles. Same smooth loading transitions, time windows, etc. ~npm i liveline

For building our EOY reel, I used to open After Effects. This time, I opened Cursor. We built a hyper-specific Mac app to sequence all the clips: - Random reshuffling to try different orders - Transforms + background color fill - Global clip-length adjustment - Visual thumbnail timeline That kind of shuffling + global tweaking + visual grid just isn’t possible in another tool.

It would be really slick if Figma added a way to toggle off all the adjustments on an image fill so I could compare it to the original quickly

@parkerhendo Could use some stronger contrast for visual hierarchy but overall great structure and use of grids.
