I cringed when I looked at my CV from 3 years ago 😂 Back then, I thought good design meant adding more. More visuals. More elements. More style. Today, I am still a maximalism, but every element has to earn its place. If it doesn’t serve the user, the strategy, or the business goal, the visual style, it goes. Comparing these two CVs made me realise how much my understanding of design has evolved. If we don’t cringe at some of our old work, we’re probably not evolving. Especially now, with AI helping us at every stage of the process, our value isn’t in making things look good. It’s in creating clarity, making better decisions, aligning experiences with business goals, understanding how products are positioned and marketed, and applying the taste, judgment, and strategic instincts that are built through years of experience, isn't it?

@harinidesignss @figma The on hover effects are awesome. The navbar shows doodle, the alphabets in footer let my cursor pass through. The folders shuffling back on scroll. This ticks all the checkboxes of an imaginary product designer I had in my mind to have such an insane portfolio.
