As the sole dairy farmer in Congress and a new member of @HouseAgGOP , I was proud to vote in favor of the Farm Bill today. This Farm Bill wasn’t written by bureaucrats in Washington – it was written by, and for, the folks in farm country. I’m grateful for the hard work of @CongressmanGT and my @HouseAgGOP colleagues to deliver critical legislation for our communities at home. I was proud to see four of my bills pass in the Farm Bill today! 🌾 These bills will help small, rural Appalachian communities connect to the modern economy through broadband assistance, help modernize their water infrastructure, support behavioral and mental health challenges like substance abuse, and prohibit federal dollars from funding solar panels on prime farmland. I look forward to continuing to work with President Trump and my colleagues on @HouseAgGOP to help Buckeye farmers, ranchers, and producers thrive! 🚜

In honor of the Farm Bill’s passage, we’re closing out Farm Bill Friday with a very important final edition: the Future Farmers Act. Farming is one of the toughest jobs in America, and the physical and mental toll can be immense. Our farmers should never have to face those challenges alone. That’s why I fought to include my Future Farmers Act in the Farm Bill—to ensure producers and family farmers have access to the support and healthcare they need in times of crisis.

🚨 FARM BILL PASSES HOUSE   This Farm Bill puts producers FIRST: - Protects American ag exports - ENDS California’s Prop 12 mandates - Enhances conservation programs - Improves rural broadband

FARM BILL PASSED! Iowa ag needs this. Huge wins for Iowa, including my Prop 12 fix (legislation I’ve been leading for years to SAVE OUR BACON & protect against costly CA mandates), new tools for precision ag, & flood resiliency investments. Had to fight many in my own party to get this bill on the floor, but the Iowa delegation worked together to make it happen & pass a bipartisan farm bill. More work to do, but this is a big win for Iowa.

Big news for North Dakota agriculture: The House just passed a five-year Farm Bill! This is the first time since 2018 that the House has reached this milestone, and hopefully it passes the Senate soon so we can get it to President Trump’s desk. The bill strengthens the farm safety net, locks in key improvements like higher reference prices, and strengthens crop insurance—while also investing in research, conservation, and access to capital. Our producers are facing real challenges, and this bill strengthens support to help them keep feeding and fueling country. Proud to support it!!
