Works very well using local model hosted from oMLX. Currently just using Telegram with it tried iMessage but it’s flaky using Blue Bubbles.

@MichaelHyatt @Hermes_agentAI @gregisenberg @AlexFinn If you have a spare Mac, that’s a really good option if you care about tool access in the Apple ecosystem. Otherwise, I would say a VPS is a fun option.

@derrickgott007 Just use Jellyfin between that and Tailscale there is no point is using Plex. I stopped using it years ago.

Absolutely insane for a server YOU HOST and YOU OWN, in YOUR HOUSE, filled with YOUR MEDIA. They host nothing, they just handle the software side that authenticates the ok to transfer media between devices over YOUR INTERNET that YOU PAY FOR.

@lamw Yea I feel Claude Code runs circles around Codex. But OpenAI is quickly catching up. They are going to get to the point where one ups the other then it goes the other direction. Just use what you’re comfortable with is what it’s probably going to turn in to. :)

@itechdad I really should try Claude Code, but I've already have so much context in ChatGPT/Gemini, I just happen to give Codex a kick yesterday. For now, I'm pretty happy and I'll see how far this project goes. I feel you need time in one, so trying to get comfortable before adding more

I recently asked both ChatGPT & Gemini to give me script that updates Windows Startup/Shutdown script, neither got working version after several attempts. Had Codex open, didn't expect diff outcome, gave it same prompt & it came to solution that worked 🤔

@lamw Yea it’s sad how much I am using Claude Code for projects but is such a time saver with something that would take hours to do can get done in a few hours. They only seem to be getting better over time :). Have heard good things about Codex I have subscription s for both.

@belbers1 @Techjunkie_Aman For remote streaming check out Tailscale. I can remote stream from my phone whenever I am away from my house.

@Techjunkie_Aman I’m a Jellyfin user, but I wish there was a paid feature for remote streaming like Plex with none of the other junk. I would be willing to pay a small fee that would support development and help my family members access my content without all the setup hassle.

Plex keeps adding paywalls. Jellyfin keeps removing reasons to pay for Plex. That’s the problem. And after testing both in 2026… the difference is getting uncomfortable 🧵

@JVTacoma @congressdj This is how I get around it. Dumb I have to do this but it works. Once you’re going the correct direction just enable it again.

A major FSD 14.3.2 annoyance. The inability for me override turns with a manual turn signal. If this were a Robotaxi, I’d have added a minute to the route. Road closed ahead, can’t alter route, so we take the big go-around option. Note: manual signaling works on the freeway.

@congressdj @Specter099 Yup it does this to me now as well. Older builds allowed you to do this.

@Specter099 It works on the freeway (and for lane changing on other roads), but I can’t get it to force a turn like I used to. This prompts me to make a disengagement at this spot daily. For the record, this also happened to me on all 14.3 builds.

@Kevin_K_DE @XPlaneOfficial From my understanding cloudxr is a local server you install on a PC with an Nvidia RTX GPU. On Nvidia’s website there is server software you can download now. Looks like it’s available for Windows and Linux.

@XPlaneOfficial Can it also run locally on my PC instead of Cloud only ? I don’t need another subscription if I have the power already at home. Also latency and bandwidth.

FSD v14.1.4 works pretty slick. Has it’s rough edges but love that I can press Home and it will drive to my apartment and 9 times out of 10 it will park in my exact parking spot. Great work!! @elonmusk @Tesla_AI

@Nomar5g @Tech_Vikin @DirtyTesLa I restarted my car yesterday and the exact same thing happened. Navigation history and favorites got wiped out. Perhaps I held down the buttons too long.

@Tech_Vikin @DirtyTesLa I can check in my car in 15 min since I did at that time yesterday, going to check software and do a reboot then. I lost all my recent locations and my favorites in navigation, not sure what caused it, ever had that happen, wonder if it was the reboot.

Someone posted that a car reset would trigger FSD 14 access. I did not think it would work but tried it after all...A bit desperate here. After a few min and here we go.... Still not sure if the reset had anything to do with it but seems worth a try..... @DirtyTesLa @wholemars @teslascope Thanks you @Tesla_AI
