Hilarious moment during the Mahayuti PC!🤣🤣🤣 Reporter asked Eknath Shinde if he and Ajit Pawar would also be sworn in tomorrow along with Devendra Fadnavis. Shinde & Pawar both replied. Now listen in 🤣

Such is the state of security and the lack of trust and peace with its own people, that Pakistan has to declare 2 days public holiday to facilitate -stop using ‘mediate’- talks between US-Iran. They want to keep people away, far far away from delegates. Taking no chances!
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Pakistan: Islamabad declared a two-day public holiday ahead of expected U.S.–Iran talks, as authorities implemented strict security measures to decrease human activity in the city. Police set up checkpoints across the city on Thursday (April 9), especially around the Red Zone, where vehicles were being checked. Many schools and shops were closed, with only limited activity seen in some areas. Local residents welcomed the move. (09.04.2026) (Video Source: Reuters)

The Prime Minister's Office: Pakistan Defence Minister’s call for Israel’s annihilation is outrageous. This is not a statement that can be tolerated from any government, especially not from one that claims to be a neutral arbiter for peace.

Imagine the number of Pakistanis who have landed at an airport globally in last 24 hours for pure orchestrated propaganda from Pakistan. No credibility. No honesty. Most of Pakistani population haven’t seen an airport abroad in their life and don’t even have a passport.

@aravind 8 mins is enough. 30-45 mins after meal. Also there is a particular way of doing it to get maximum benefit. Lift heel 1-2 seconds. Hold for 1 second and let it rest. 2-3 secs rest. Then again. As per research: do it thrice a day post meal. Do it for a month to see +ve results.

No need for harder and inconvenient exercise like squats to reduce blood sugar (see bryan's post). Try this simple, discreet move after your meal wherever you are: Sit comfortably on a chair or sofa with your feet flat on the ground and knees bent about 90 degrees. Keep the balls of your feet and toes planted, then lift your heels as high as possible. Press down through the front of your feet, then relax and let your heels lower back down. Repeat in a smooth rhythm for 10–30 minutes (or as long as you can). This will reduce blood glucose, improve insulin response, reduce inflammation, and you may even start losing weight if you make it a habit.
Aravind@aravind

@bryan_johnson Just activating the soleus muscle through simple seated contractions after a meal can significantly blunt blood sugar spikes by 52% and lower insulin response by 60% over 3 hours.

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes. Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days! @realDonaldTrump @JDVance @SecRubio @SteveWitkoff @SEPeaceMissions @drpezeshkian @mb_ghalibaf @araghchi

This is just too funny 🤦‍♂️ Trump's justification for extending his deadline by 2 weeks is that Pakistan's Prime Minister "requested" it. But when you look at the edit history of the post in question by Pakistan's PM, where he "requests" the extension, it's painfully obvious it was sent to him by the White House since he first stupidly posted it with the mention "Draft - Pakistan's PM Message on X" 🤣

Ryan Grim@ryangrim

Oh, this is unbelievable. The edit history on this tweet shows that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif originally copied and pasted everything he was sent, including: "*Draft - Pakistan's PM Message on X*" Now, obviously, Sharif's own staff don't call him "Pakistan's PM," they would just call him prime minister. The U.S. and Israel, of course, would call him "Pakistan's PM." Would be funny if the fate of the world wasn't hanging in the balance.

Stop the biased reporting and lies. It is a 113 year old bridge. It has OUTLIVED its utility. The girders are rusted. It’s old and weak. So why cook up stories? Moreover in your article on this, nowhere do you back your “colonial purge” claim. Kill the click bait urge.

Today, India takes a defining step in its civil nuclear journey, advancing the second stage of its nuclear programme. The indigenously designed and built Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam has attained criticality. This advanced reactor, capable of producing more fuel than it consumes, reflects the depth of our scientific capability and the strength of our engineering enterprise. It is a decisive step towards harnessing our vast thorium reserves in the third stage of the programme. A proud moment for India. Congratulations to our scientists and engineers.

I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

Only the Congress can release its "official" list of candidates AFTER the legal deadline to withdraw The result? 5 “rebels” are now officially on the ballot with the Hand symbol, fighting their own ally, the DMK. A masterclass in self-sabotage. thehindu.com/elections/pudu…

Incredible. The fact that US & Japan werent allies during WW2 is lost on Trump. Today they are allies. Everyone knew US would attack Iran & that they did wasn’t a surprise. Element of surprise is in the timing & targets which could’ve been guarded even after consulting allies.
Bloomberg@business

Tensions between the US and Japan over Iran were clear Thursday as President Trump asked Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, "Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor?" Takaichi didn't laugh and instead pursed her lips and glanced at her advisers bloom.bg/4rNzWrP

Chemotherapy kills cancer cells. It also kills the immune cells that kill cancer cells. Most of oncology has accepted that trade-off. @DrPatrick never did. He built Anktiva, an IL-15 agonist that activates and expands your NK cells and T cells without triggering the suppressive cells that protect tumors. Saudi Arabia just approved it for lung cancer. First country in the world to do so. I've been using IL-15 intratumorally in combination with other immunotherapy agents for years. What Dr. Soon-Shiong is doing at the systemic level, we're doing at the tumor level. The future of cancer treatment isn't about finding better poisons. It's about unlocking what's already inside you.
All day Astronomy@forallcurious

🚨: Japanese scientist Patrick Soon-Shiong has designed a treatment that activates body's natural killer cells that fight against cancer cells. Its approved in the U.S. and now Saudi Arabia has also approved it for its public.
