4 months into uni I was told I wasn't registered despite having my enrolment letter. I just left as hated it. Later I applied for a graduate position based on the degree I would have gotten. 26 years and multiple promotions later I'm still terrified of being found out

As a kid I once asked in a restaurant if duck was considered sea food, everyone takes the piss out of me for it now but at 29 I still think it's a valid question. I'm completely over it though. Maybe.

@twuttter @fesshole You don't really 'cook' smoked salmon in scrambled eggs, you just add it at the end to warm it up a bit.

@fesshole Seems a bit weird to put it in the oven but cooked smoked salmon isn’t unusual eg in scrambled eggs.

I only started eating fish as an adult. Every week I'd cook a new type of fish, to experience the variety. For a year I prepared smoked salmon by laying it on a baking tray and roasting it in the oven. Only found out when I went to a restaurant and complained the salmon was raw.
