Ending traffic accidents.

CHP LA Communications Center using AI to prevent accidents before they happen @CBSLosAngeles @chp_la_comm @KaraFinnstrom youtu.be/KrY2NVJ2eno?si…

@kevinpomplun, Co-founder and CEO of @LENSDetect, spoke at our year-end retreat about treating AI as an extension of human capability.

In bright sunny Miami, people who are trying to unchoke the gridlock of traffic, and prevent traffic accidents, all gathered this week at the CoMotion Miami Conference. Here are our best highlights: • @CityofMiami Mayor Higgins kicking off the conference highlighting the many partnerships that start at CoMotion and quickly spread across the state • @MayorDaniella talked about how she is pushing Miami-Dade county to embrace change for improving infrastructure with new ideas • Miami’s top transportation official @GoMiamiDade's Stacy Miller announced winners of the Mobility Awards, given to innovators in the field • And our team favorite, @john_rossant's keynote about how public and private sectors are joining forces in order to achieve the full benefits of AI across the entire transportation sector

A great way to discover new and emerging ideas to improve the world is @WorksInProgMag. We are humbled they chose to highlight LENS's mission to end traffic accidents in their February issue

I met the founder of LENS at Progress Conference. They put cameras on the highways and alert if they detect something highly dangerous—like a car going the wrong way, or exceeding 100mph—so the police can respond immediately and prevent an accident. Very good work:
